Curious—any other home mining enthusiasts out there still stacking sats with compact ASICs? I’ve been testing a few small rigs recently—Bitaxe Gamma, Avalon Nano 3S, Avalon Mini3, and most recently the NerdQaxe++. All designed for quiet, efficient mining at home without needing a warehouse or a noise-cancelling bunker 😅 The NerdQaxe++ surprised me the most: stable 4.8TH/s, ~80W draw, solid thermal performance, and an open-source firmware that’s easy to tweak. Setup took under 30 mins and it's been running non-stop for a month now. The Avalon Nano 3S is quieter but delivers less power, and the Bitaxe Gamma is great for tinkering if you're into DIY builds and open-source hardware. Wondering what others are running these days—has anyone tried the Nano 3s or Mini3 long-term? How’s stability, hashrate, and profitability holding up? Would love to hear what setups you're running, what’s working, what’s not. Home mining might not be for profit anymore, but it’s still fun being part of the network and watching those sats trickle in ⚡ Drop your miner setup below! 👇

Um, you should know that one cannot 'mine' BTC using an app on a phone. ALL such apps are either outright scams and/or often spyware/malware. ref https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=2415854.0 point-3

NerdQAxe ++ is my favourite solo miner right now, can't go wrong with 80watt power draw, I can run this for many years to come unless the miner dies on me, I can't tell if those Avalon nano are open source and this is where I have problem with these miners.
Are miners selling their Bitcoin yet? I can't find a data that they are doing this right now, I think the price for these miners will still dump hard once Bitcoin goes down to 30k or 40 in the next bearish year.
I feel that's the perfect time to get this miners for discount, home miners might not be profitable anymore but it's fun, I can run one for the next 10 years to come and maybe, just maybe I can hit a block.

New Home Miner Launched: MagicMiner BG02 – A GPU-Style Bitcoin Miner That Actually Works!Home Bitcoin mining is getting more exciting by the day. A new compact unit has just hit the scene – the MagicMiner BG02. It’s built like a GPU rig but runs SHA256 – and yes, it’s been tested and actually works! 💪 more options for individuals to mine Bitcoin at home without massive infrastructure. another creative design – the NerdQaxe Hydro. This one looks wild – hydro-cooled and totally out-of-the-box. People really have a lot of imagination these days! 😄 Between rigs like the MagicMiner BG02 and NerdQaxe Hydro. Anyone else testing these or planning to? Let’s keep the hashrate decentralized! 🧡

So I read the gpu/asic review
would have like to see the gui.
would like to know is it under clockable?
and it is disappointing that it is only 1 miner per eth jack.
but you could use an unplugged riser and mount it anyplace you want that is close to a psu.
it uses an out of date chip bm1968
now if it were the bm1970
and you could daisy chain it it would be nice.
i have 13 empty gpu cases 12 cards
i could put in six cards.
but i envision four risers on a board with a small ethernet switch and an atx psu.
this would be okay if they used the bm1970 chip.
500 bucks and 10th using 167 watts
vs
450 bucks and 7 th using 167 watts.
It would be nice to make a four card unit
but i make 1 board s19xp miners that can do 35th easy peasy
and I can make them for maybe 750 usd
while these are 450 and 7th
also i do not want to use a pc and the constant heat of the card is hard on the gear.

I am using a NerdQAxe++ which i bought from mineshop.eu - perfect litte device, I cracked 1.94G last night running against my Docker stack ( https://github.com/magicdude4eva/btc-fullnode-stack). The device is on it's default settings and consumes about 80W and hashrate is 4.3 to 4.8TH/s (sometimes breaking out to 5.2TH). Waiting for that block to drop

I'm also a novice, but it works quite well. However, I have a job myself, so I only check on it during my rest time.
