BONK launched a new platform that is really pumpfun-like.

Seems like memecoins will have more share when it comes to the rise of SOL price in the upcoming bullrun.

BONK will also be more than just memecoin, it is now bringing utility.

What is everyone thinking? memecoins are now bigger than whole crypto in my opinion.

Well, I had no doubt about Bonk because it's one of the major meme coins that I hold for the long-term, even though I still continue to save it through DCA of course. Because I have a price target for it. In fact, there are 4 meme coins that I hold for the long-term.

I hope it continues even if it's slow, that's fine as long as it reaches the price I want or am waiting for, and once I reach that, even if it goes up,
I will definitely sell it.

I think memecoins will absolutely have a huge influence in driving SOL price up because they are getting amazing traction lately, utility coming from BONK is shocking but honestly it makes sense if they want to be relevant and not just be a joke coin. They did last year and that's why the price of SOL shoot up when many of the memecoins that became successful came from SOL network. And as for the BONK, it became a huge hit and still one of the top memecoins out there. So, if projects like BONK are making themselves some platforms, then that's the usecase that we're all looking at. And not just some of the projects that have been listed and they're only good for trading without some good utilities that we're talking and looking for.

I honestly doubtful toward new meme coin platform since there's too much already and people could just skip these platform and deploy it directly on the blockchain and add LP to dex without the need of bonding.
To add on top of that, people already getting used with existing platform, but I guess we will see.

I honestly don't think it's true, BTC dominance is sitting at 63% and altcoins still dominates the top rank by market cap, there's no way meme coin is bigger than whole crypto.

I think OP is trying to say that memes are becoming the focus and domination of the altcoin market. All the attention is on memes instead of utility projects in other narratives like Defi, AI, RWA...

Many people who looked down on memecoin years ago will not like or accept this fact. But with what is happening, memecoin not only did not disappear as they predicted but also became an important part of crypto.

Could be another scam platform but it’s impossible to declare that right now. Meme coins are full of scammers, fraudsters, grifters & just general POS actors. Investing in meme coins is fine but be prepared to lose all of your money. There is no certainty & no guarantee you won’t get rug pulled or scammed in any number of ways.

In my observation, meme coins have really become part of the crypto space and it can no longer be separated because it also makes a big contribution to the crypto market.
And let's admit it, there are still many who hope to hit the jackpot with meme coins, especially if the hype momentum is strong.

Although, the majority of new meme coins that appear always end up in failures and do not succeed,
and others end up in a rug pull and are carried away or believe in the wrong Fomo.

Bonk and most Solana meme coins are attractive to a vast majority of people because a select few are making serious money on them every day.

I'm using Solana Wallet Tracker to watch people trade every day, but I haven't bought anything as it looks way too fast to make money.

Depends on the utility token, because there are still manyh that does get investment. But Memes are definitely top trending of "token" world, not the coin world. Altcoins are two different ways, either a coin of its own, or token in another projects ecosystem, majority of the memes are tokens and they are leading the token world, but even a single coin is bigger than all of memes right now (eth is) so it's clear to say that memes are not leading the "altcoin" world, they are just leading the token world.

And that is based on tokens and nothing more, so we can't say that this is going to be good for them, we need to realize how things are changing and we should be considering to move further with what we have, focus on the coins and not tokens and you are going to do fine.
