I bought into the Lightchain AI presale this morning, but had major issues from the start. First, after purchase, I never received my LCAI tokens into my Trust Wallet as the website indicated I would. Tried to find some customer support for LCAI, but everything pointed to a Telegram community. I went there, was inundated by moderators, phone calls, and such all claiming to represent LCAI officially. Finally ended up chatting with a guy on Telegram who seemed sincere in trying to help me. He asked me to provide a Transaction Hash, which I did. Then wanted me to go to some Dapp website and manually connect my wallet for asset recovery. I ended up not connecting my wallet because the steps asked for my 12-word seed phrase. So, I stopped the communication with this guy there and then. However, it wasn't too long after this that I discovered the three wallets I had in my Trust Wallet were all emptied out. I'm at a loss as to how that could have happened. I never shared my seed phrase. There was just the sharing of my wallet address with the LCAI website to make the purchase of their presale tokens and the sharing of the Transaction Hash with this supposed customer service guy. My understanding is that sharing a Transaction Hash does not expose your wallet to being compromised. Yet, mine was.
So, any ideas how this might have happened?
