I do hear of bullrun but have never experienced it before because one was not acquainted with the knowledge of crypto then, and prior to this time I've been hearing that this year is a bull year, could it be that this upward trend in the price of Bitcoin is an indication of a bullrun, please drop your opinion so we all can learn and know how to navigate the market.

I thought as much too, because the way bitcoin price is pumping This period I think am beginning to believe that we are entering the bull market, though am not  sure if we are if we are in bullrun or not am just speculating base on how bitcoin is pumping This period, because am having this feeling that the bull market is here, but that's by way am just a newbie here I don't know if my speculation is correct or not, but I we keep on reading through the thread to see what others will say mostly our old oga them for the forum.

Yes , you don't have to wait any longer in anticipation because we are already into it, bullrun continues as we speak, trade with caution and invest to hold, while i want to use the medium in congratulating those that have been holding for a while, because they are now already in profits as they continue to hold, some of which may also decide to sell and later reinvest to buy the dip and hold again, which is why we see it as being profitable enough to consider bitcoin.

Nothing special here, Bull run is a phrase that denotes the bullish season of Bitcoin. It mustn't be a special season, for instance, one bull run happened in about 6 weeks till now, when Bitcoin moved from around $75k to above $105k.

I don't see Bitcoin moving so significantly upwards this year. Anything that is above $20k movement should be appreciated.

A little explanation bull run is a long period of the bitcoin price going up although it doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be market correction but over a long period of the time the price is overall pumping, during this period there is usually new ATH been created due to constant pumping of the market. One of the catalyst that indicates bull run arrival is the halving period which took place last year April. Why many are saying this year is a bull run year is because the year after the halving year is usually a bullish year and that’s why the narrative is all round the space.

Are we in bull run or about to get there I will say the entire market since after the halving has been bullish with two new ATH already set just that the market has actually had it’s correction. The market overall over the past year has been up to 60% which indicates bullishness just that we have had a correction in the first quarter of this year already but the market seems to back with the month of April alone gas risen by 16% so the market is much back but overall we have been in the bull run since after the halving occurred

I think that we are in a phase of bull run now from the way the price is increasing. One thing that I have noticed that formed my opinion is that we are seeing short time sells and longer move up. That is when the price drops, it doesn't last longer before it will rise back up again which shows that there are more people ready to buy and are buying more than those who want to sell. This is a normal market symbol to know where the people are choosing to go. So if it were a particular bag of rice now, more people choosing to buy such brand will keep skyrocketing the price of that brand. So likewise what is happening with bitcoin, demand is higher than supply so the price will keep rising.

Well for the record, the overall price of bitcoin is in a bullish state however we may experience few downtrends which we did in the last few months but the price will at some point get back standing and move towards the purposed direction. Due to the recent levels of manipulations in the market, it is difficult to tell if this is actually a real bull run or just a pump in price due to some news or the actions of the Whales in the market. However if price continues to soar higher   to the point of breaking the previous ATH than that means we are actually in the bull season but if price retest the ATH zone or close to the peak and reverses direction then it was just another minor bull run.

Bull run is a symbolic term that we use for a period of worth rising. The kind of excitement that is displayed during the pumping period of a cryptocurrency. The high price offers attractive offers to investors, so most investors expect a bull run and continue to save for the long term. Bull run started in 2023 because since then we haven't gone below the highest price it reached then because it was around $44k, it then moved till we got an ATH of $73k on March 14, 2024, before the price skyrocketed above $104k now so the market have been bullish which signifies a bull run but if it maintains the price movement as it does in previous cycles, that means this year might be the end of the bull run though not certain because things might likely change this time around and the bull run can possibly enter next year. The change in the cycle is not only as a result of adoption by whales but on a general note, more people are buying and hodling bitcoins now and those actions can make the bull run last longer than it should.

Yes this year nah really bull year and since bitcoin never go below $60k since eh cross enter $100k plus before some say nah still bull season we they, bull nah when price of bitcoin they on the higher side and bear market nah when the price they sink on the red side, the bearish nah when some they take opportunity carry dip their bag with Bitcoin, you just need to study the market weller with small attention u go understand how everything they carry work and move.

Well, considering the rate at which it moved from $80k+ to over $105+ we can say yes it’s in a bull run and that’s another way of saying the market is bullish indicating the market is green and as an investor, you shouldn’t be bothered over the bill and bear market but rather would be bothered about how to stack more racks and stats at the moment, for those who already invested prior before now should be in some very good profits and that’s a more significant reason to invest in bitcoin and not just worrying about if the market is bull or bear.

I wouldn’t only quoted your last paragraph but I align with your entire post and yes what we should be worried about for now is how we can buy at a more lesser price and those who should be excited at the market situation now are those who already bought some time back and not as a yet to be investor .

The advice you gave about having knowledge of Bitcoin first is very good but one of the things I have learnt is that basic knowledge about Bitcoin can help anyone to start investing, things like understanding volatility, how to buy and to store and security of the assets too. Now talking about how the whole market works, that will be more better to be experience when you have already started buying Bitcoin, another important that you should also know is that there is no best time of buying Bitcoin because the market is unpredictable and trying to know when to buy will be difficult as timing the market that is volatile and for a beginner it is bad because you can miss reasonable buying opportunities just because you want to timing the market, the best advice na to buy when you have your spare money you plan to use and buy Bitcoin and selling should be after getting a good size of Bitcoin and holding for a long time because Bitcoin na long term investment short term will not give good profit compared to long term.

Buying through the DCA method means that you're buying regularly at intervals that you are comfortable with and continue doing so over a long period of time.

Imagine you want to invest $5k worth of bitcoin and can't afford to do so just at a time, you can break it down into buying it weekly till you've built it up to the number of years that you must have built up to that amount you're planning to accumulate. So for instance you can only afford to buy $50 per week, you can consistently do so for 100 weeks and get $500. Do it for two hundred weeks and get $1k. The method helps you buy but by bit till you've reached your set out goal.

what are you waiting for, you can use that little knowledge to buy what you can afford to lose, so that you will not blame anybody for anything, Dollar average cost (DCA) strategy,  you don't need to sell or trade your bitcoin quickly than to continue buying in any of the season and hold for long term, but if you don't have the funds, it will be difficult for you to survive in that strategy op.
