I saw this post https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=5539752.0 on our local board which made me to create this thread the OP was talking about missed opportunities of how alot of person's missed out on to invest in Bitcoin when bitcoin was just starting and how rich people would have been if they had started early to invest in Bitcoin knowing the market value of Bitcoin.


But am of the opinion that there is no reason to regret because opportunities that are lost is lost the best thing to do is to see how you can make do of what is available in a bid of correcting what has happened, that is why am saying that when it comes to Bitcoin there's no time that is too late you can start today because the future of Bitcoin is getting brighter everyday that passes so starting with Bitcoin as of when you get to know of the opportunities that Bitcoin offers is the best no to regret of past opportunities.

I totally agree with you. It’s easy to look back and feel bad about not investing earlier, bt the truth is, no one can change the past.

Bitcoin is still full of potential, and it’s not too late to get involved. The key is to start learning and taking small steps forward.

I no know about di future maybe wen Bitcoin price go reach $1million and above maybe e fit to de late for people wey never enter. But as of today wey Bitcoin still de around $100k e never de too late to enter. Some people even de speculate say Bitcoin go hit $200k ATH for dis circle, if e no happen now e no go miss next circle and na double profit be dat for every investors. Everyday should be seen as an opportunity to start accumulating Bitcoin and nobody should feel it's too late to invest in Bitcoin. People that heard about bitcoin some years ago but choose not invest when the price was low shouldn't give up because they feel the current price of Bitcoin is too high and will be too expensive for them to buy. I am certain at this point that Everybody can still be an investor in Bitcoin irrespective of Race,gender and whether you're a low income or high income earners Using DCA strategy. All of us joined bitcoin at different time, some when the price looked really high and some at the time of correction when it looked as though bitcoin was not going to recover at all. In the long run, we've seen and can tell that regardless of the price we came into bitcoin at, it was worth it getting started at that time.

Every time you want to get started in anything that has been around for a while, there's always the thought that you're getting in at the wrong time but after staying for much longer period of time, it eventually dawns on you that you've not joined at the wrong time after all. Whatever jas happened in the past stays in the past and there's no reason to regret no starting earlier enough, if you had known about bitcoin prior to now, chances are that you must have sold your holding before things starts getting this good. The now and future is the only thing we have left, the past is gone and gone for good.

There's always time to invest in Bitcoin, there's ron for Everyone to grow and make Profit from it but there are some people who don't bother to invest in it because they feel like it's too late and they also feel like they need to acquire a high amount of money for them to get started but that's a delay to yourself...the longer you wait the harder it gets to invest in it.. instead of blaming yourself for not investing in the past do something now to change your status quo in the future.

There is that proverb about the best time to plant a tree that I like very much. It is a Chinese proverb and it is that "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now". Let me replace that with "The best time to invest in bitcoin was 15 years ago, the second best time is now. Common no regrets at all. Another of my all time favourite quote by James R. Sherman is that  You can't go back and make a new start, but you can start right now and make a brand new ending. I would say that, you can't go back and make a buy bitcoin when it was at $100, but you can start right now and accumulate it slow and steady and just maybe one day you will join the 1 bitcoiner club.

I don't know why most guys are still capitalizing of this fact, moreover everyone most not become rich at same time. For the fact that most guys missed out the opportunity to invest in bitcoin during the early stage does not mean that they can no longer take advantage in this current stage, rather it will be so unwise/foolish if we are unable to accumulate a fraction of bitcoin in this current stage. And I won't be surprise to see that happening because most guys are already afriad to invest in bitcoin due to the current market situation, so this isn't all about regret the question is that how far have we gone in our accumulating journey?

It's unnecessary to start regretting about the opportunities in missed in buying Bitcoin, yeah many of us wish we could reverse the hand of time to meet up with buying at very low price. It took this long for the price to recover from the strategic bitcoin reserve announcement. For the record bitcoin has had multiple 80% drops, it's a thing that happens every few years pretty much. Bitcoin much more intertwined with financial system and people’s pensions, retirement, etc. The value prop is getting people to care about a data-driven to answer: "how do we accumulate as much bitcoin as possible given a budget and duration". This argument is a non-starter.  printing money consolidates wealth around the rich, putting the poor further behind.  i'm not sure why he sees bitcoin as more concentrated, instead it is shared between normally non-cooperative countries.  each unit will be insanely valuable, but this actually helps its use-case.  printing money keeps the people laboring, encourages gambling over investing, and prevents the average joe from ever succeeding. The challenge starts with "assume you are orange pilled and want to accumulate as much bitcoin subject to a budget and duration". Bitcoin is divisible so its a non argument.

True what is important to people should be how they can make use of the present time that we have whether you started investing or not from the beginning it is not important again what's important now is what you are still doing with the opportunities that Bitcoin still has are you investing in Bitcoin today for the sake of tomorrow that should be our primary focus because still holding on to the past will not do us any good



Most Nigerian missed out on investing in Bitcoin from the beginning because as of then the level of enlightenment was not was not there most people who where even aware was still skeptical about it because as of then Bitcoin was not like this the value of Bitcoin was still a subject of discussion and debate so people where not too ready in investing

It is never too to invest in Bitcoin, yes i agreed with you but there is that I'm sensing and my mind is telling me that it is true, if an investor invest on Bitcoin when Bitcoin is $40k for years now some investors waited for  Bitcoin to touch $110k before investing, so among these two nvestors which one will make more profit. Because there is know need waiting for Bitcoin be above $110k before investing.

Regret is normal since it is very painful to miss out on opportunities out of your own shortcoming, but what we do after regretting is of great importance. We can choose to remain in our regrets and do nothing about it and we can choose to learn from our mistakes and forge ahead. It is true that those that missed out on the early days can never be in such profits like the people that bought when it was relatively cheap, but bitcoin is still advancing and investors entering the market now are still early. Bitcoin would arguably continue to do well far into the future and those who bought even the top today would be in good profits in the near future.

Yes, I agree with the link post because there was added advantage when bitcoin started than now, let's look at my view of it:
1. When BTC came newly it was very cheap and affordable
2. It was easier to navigate than currently
3. The market value then was more achievable as per risk taken
4. Small amount then can purchase good and better figure rates than now that is a costly approach.
5. It was likely given to individuals by friends as gift or trade exchange than now
6. Bitcoin was not this competitive than now

So having the chance of acquiring or achieving good investment with bitcoin is 50/50% because the volatile changes of BTC can be quite scary when the heavy is against the investors. My opinion on current investors is to study the management risk involved in BTC now and invest what you can not lose.

As a human being, regretting is inevitable, it's a normal phenomenon that occurs when humans make wrong decisions so it's bound to occur cause as human we must make decisions that would affect us negatively, missing out on buying Bitcoin earlier is worth making one to regret cause the profit is huge and anyone who did then would've make a lot of profits.

 It's normal to regret but getting your decisions right after regret is the best approach, and those who missed out on buying cheaper still got lots more chances cause Bitcoin is still cheap even though it's not as cheap as it used to be, if such person invest now, you could imagine the profit the person would make when Bitcoin gets to $1m.
