In the middle of last season, PSG really made improvements to their squad which made the club stronger. Meanwhile, at the end of this season in the summer transfer market, I saw that PSG was no longer as busy as usual in the transfer market. After failing to bring in Franco Mastantuono from River Plate, I have not heard any news that they will bring in new players again. It seems that they are confident enough with the squad they have built to face the next season.

I think that the only problem that xabi Alonso will be having in Madrid will be in the defense line because Madrid defense was really bad and that led to them been unable to reach the final of the champions League and even the laliga Alonso should bring in new legs to complement the efforts of the defense

If I should tell you the team I’m expecting to be at the top of the Champions League competition, this table is Barcelona, one of the teams I’m expecting to be at the top. Real Madrid have changed their coach, and this will definitely affect the players performance. Another team I’m expecting is Bayern Munich; they will be competitive next season too, so I’m not sure if Real Madrid will be at the top as they always are every season. I can't fully say that the defense line was the only reason why Real Madrid didn’t reach the Champions League final, but what I will say is that things just didn’t work out for them. If we focus on the defense and consider it as the main reason, what about Barcelona? I don’t think Barcelona has that strong of a defense line either, and that was the reason they were conceding goals in almost every match. But the truth about Barcelona is, even though they are conceding goals, they are also scoring them, and they always make sure their goals are ahead of their opponents.

And then you write off Chelsea, Napoli, Manchester city and Arsenal from the list. What a way to disrespect these teams that have more often shown a strong competition in the champions league whenever they are in attendance. I wouldn't want o underestimate any team right now till the season is in motion and the league stage has gone  a long mile. In the season when PSG won the champions league they had to finish bottom in the league stage and no one ever thought they can rise as champions.  Don't be amazed if none of those teams you listed above reaches the semi finals or the final.

PSG under Enrique is indeed unquestionable, PSG's game is increasingly collective and the attacks built are quite measured and effective, this can be proven after they managed to win the trophy they have always dreamed of this season. Next season their challenge will be even tougher, because as you said, defending the title is quite difficult, in the last decade, only Real Madrid has managed to win the title in a row, other clubs have not been able to. Lastly we remember when Man City in its best form was unable to defend the title, so looking at the history of other teams it is certainly difficult for PSG to defend the title.

Liverpool did great last season. Truth be told, the reds were the best during the group stage until they faced off Paris Saint Germans. Top introductions I must say. PSG performed wonderfully and if they can reinforce the team during the transfer season, they have a chance to win the cup again. They played well as a team this year and deserved the cup. I think PSG is sometimes treated unfairly because the team is now more in sync with each other and has started to play better football and they have shown with their games that their success is not a coincidence.

Of course, the big teams want the cup in the Champions League and they do their best. Real Madrid and Barcelona have always been the biggest candidates for this cup, but teams like PSG will always show their presence.
