Hi guys I am new to this platform and I am a beginner also I posted 6 to 7 posts,but I don't know how to get merit. I am trying my level best to post a good quality and helpful post for the people who are interested in this type of topic so kindly share me how to get merit points and give some ideas to made give a good idea to post a useful and informative post for people who needed the information and also I need to know about how the merit will be given by someone who liked my topic or post can you suggest me the right way to post my topic or my reply,is there anyone who knows the perfect and correct way to make the merit points share your thoughts

There are many similar topic are available on this forum. you can review the past and topic which is already created and disguised about merit. You will get your answer from there.

To get merit, you have to create a post or topic that is worthy of merit. And of course, that post should be of quality and helpful. Review the posts that are constantly getting merit here and which posts are being merited and think about why those posts are being given merit, then you will get your answer yourself and you can also earn merit.

I don't think this is something that should be a concern to you because you are just starting and I as I know when your post are helpful you would definitely receive merits. As a newbie or beginners I don't think you should focused on merits instead look out for things that would benefit you or benefit others from the forum and give your views towards that and you will definitely gain the merit. Merits is not something we should worried about because when you so much focused on it would make you feel less important or less active because you are not earning it.

The rate at which newbies comes up with this same curiosity about Merits even when they have not really navigate the forum to an extend is becoming too alarming, op has just made only 6 posts and he is already incusitive about Merits, most times I feel is actually lack of proper orientation from anyone that may have brought them in to the forum, they keep repeating the same question over and over again, and the worst of it is that majority of them want to become like the other higher members over night without considering the level of effort that was put to achieve such rank.

Well as a newbie focusing on merit shouldn't be your problem right now. However, I would advise you settle down and focus on learning because it is only when you learn very well that you would be able to came out with a good quality post. Because as long as this Bitcointalk forum is concerned merit is only awarded to a post that is helpful and meaningful. So don't be in haste, after all it is only 8 posts that you made. However, just stick to reading more topics and posts of the high rank Members with that you would be able to gather some knowledge and joined together with your own.

1st of all, i would suggest not to use shitty fonts or font embelishments on your title. I know you're trying to make it stand out, but that in combination of asking how to get merit, will just make people say "oh another merit begger".

As to answer your question, merit is like a fart, if you force it you might shit yourself. If you just let it go at it's own pace, you'll get there eventually

@OP, look at the post I just gave merit to, that's how it works. Just stay on the forum, do something good or useful for the forum, eventually you'll get the fart out on its own.

As others have already said be active on the forum, write, be creative, engaging, and do something useful to contribute to the community. It’s not easy every beginning is difficult, and you know that yourself. Be persistent, and the results will come.Post in sections that interest you and write about things you actually understand.

I did check your posts and they are mostly asking a question and not really contributing to conversations, you can hardly expect a merit for that and you should ideally neverpost expecting merits.

I don’t know how you got idea that, making quality posts either as a thread or comment could attract to the post some merits but, it’s the right kind of idea and not the type that backed up your creating of this thread.
This just means you are trolling for real and that’s because, all the answers you need, it’s what you’ve already mentioned in the OP. You certainly don’t get merits this way and this sort of thread is what you look to avoid in the future. You can already find in the first comment that lots of them already do exist.

Just be yourself man. You came to the forum for merits or came here to learn something?  If it's the first one then you probably won't go much far, if it's the 2nd one then earning merits won't be a hard job. You made only a handful of posts and already running after merits. First try to observe and learn how the forum works. Merit comes later. Merits are actually given when someone does something good for the forum, like a positive contributions, a good deed, like helping someone. It isn't given on quantity but based on quality.
