Let's be honest. How many people in this topic that have posted that a "trading mentor is good" has actually outperformed Bitcoin over a large sample of multiple cycles because they had a mentor?

Because 90% of "traders" actually aren't winning traders, with or without a mentor, then a pleb like me could also say that it actually wouldn't make a difference.

I was initially interested in trading even before I joined this forum, but ever since, I have not met anyone willing to teach me.
Most of the videos I have seen on YouTube are too complex, especially those using tools like the OctaFX App and Exness Trade App.

Theres only few whose willing to teach by heart unless you pay them. Mentorship isnt always free but if you got a friend whose willing to teach you then better. But in this time, you can actually learn it by continuous watching or understanding the concept of trading. Its not that hard if you just focus. Dont just join signal for trading cause those guys arent really teaching but giving only you a potential market signal.

Having a trading mentor isn't that easy to go with cause first thing first your mind must be ready for whatever results that come, some traders don't like undergoing mentorship program for so long because the see trading as one quick money making scheme, so after some little guidelines they feel they can take it from there and alas they are stucked and generate loses overtime cause of improper guidelines and mentorship.

It's good if you have read and get a lot of important things from each reply in your thread.

One thing you must remember always use money that you can afford to lose, otherwise trading may actually ruin your finances.
Because trading does not always go according to what you learn especially crypto trading the market is often unpredictable and surprising you.

The people who have contributed and given their best advice in this one topic of yours will also be quite happy when you have understood what they have conveyed because the purpose of everyone in this forum is to remind each other and also give each other the best ideas based on the experiences they have had. I also do not really depend on a mentor because a mentor also has his own busy schedule so it is always difficult to find the same time when wanting to learn something. That is why I also do not rely too much on mentors and rely more on myself in terms of seeking knowledge that I do not yet understand.

You know already that a mentor is well experienced and one who will give you the important information you need to know and will always give you feedback and help you avoid mistakes and make sure that you learn the best. One snag with finding a mentor these days is that everyone is now claiming to be an expert. And immediately they see that you're desperate to have a mentor, the cost they will charge you will be so expensive that you will just know that they are after the money.

Which type of person are you? Are you self-taught, and do you learn fast on your own? If so, needing a mentor is not necessary. Rather  take on trading courses, read books, and ask questions of friends and strangers who you admire in trading, and their answers can help.

I think the best way to balance this situation is to engage in self-education to keep costs down while also investing in occasional mentorship or guidance during critical stages to effectively manage potential risks.

Relying solely on your mentor without developing your own skills can be too risky.

My advice to find mentors in the real world, which can guide you in real trade, it's better to trade in the crypto market not the same as you see in the media, YouTube Or other sources, you need guidance directly from those who are near you, it's better if I think.

In choosing a mentor in this space one needs to be very careful inorder not to fall victim of  scammers, and mind you there are tons of people that are willing to teach you if you are open to learning but starting up here isn't like a wrong choice but just so you know there are scammers everywhere but on your side you need to get knowledge of what trading you are about to go into that's one thing you owe yourself first before needing a mentor.

If you are looking forward to learning how to trade as a beginner then I'd suggest you avoid YouTube videos because they would only end up confusing you. Although there are people that Still learning from this medium but it doesn't mean that you will everyone would be able to comprehend the same way. If you are still below the intermediate stage then you should focus on pdf materials so you can learn the terms first

If you want to learn about trading, you have to be directly involved in trading. Now you may be hesitant to get directly involved in trading, but if you get directly involved in trading without reading any books or YouTube, I think you will learn much better. However, I would advise you to use a very small amount of money to get directly involved in trading, meaning that you will not have any regrets if you lose money. You trade with that amount of money and gradually you will see that you have become very experienced in trading. Although some experience is needed at first, you will understand that experience only when you enter the trading platform, otherwise you can watch a little on YouTube and then you will try the rest yourself. It is better not to try to learn from others.

Okay of you, not all YouTuber can explain properly. Frankly, I benefited more than YouTube, when I was interested in learning trading. Then I started with help on YouTube. The beginning is a little complicated, but later I got good fruitful and the help of my older brothers was fairly done in the trading. However, I will suggest learning from the Trading Institute rather than YouTube. Because there is the most taught by practicing there. And anyone can learn trading very easily. But I won't say bad to all the YouTuber. Because I learned to be trading from YouTube myself.

First, you should figure out exactly what you want to learn. What does ‘trading’ mean to you? Just try to explain it in your own simple words.

And it’s good that you already know you need simple, clear tools and strategies — that’s the right mindset. I’ve seen a ton of fancy trading terminals, but I’ve never seen traders actually making money just because they used them.

You need a trade buddy more than a mentor, as in a buddy system.

A guy who knows all your trades, and who you know all his trades. A guy who'll know when you didn't set a stop loss or who knows you suddenly bought when you said you put in limit orders. You will also know when he does the same.

Not many successful traders will be willing to share their ideas and strategies even if they are paid. Their are many online mentors who are charging people for their services but I don't think their is much benefit in following these mentors as their aim is to gather money and they themselves are nor a successful trader.

If you are successful in finding a good mentor then it's fine those who don't should try to figure out themselves how to get success in trading. It's of no use to follow signalling groups and self proclaimed mentors.
