When I was a kid, 64 megabytes of RAM was standard.

Leaving the PC on all night to finish 3 gigabyte downloads at dial up speeds was standard.

32 bit gaming consoles were a huge upgrade over 16 bit SNES or 8 bit NES.

...

Fast forward a few decades, kids today have 8 gigabytes of RAM.

Everyone has broadband internet.

PS4 is a quad core x 64 bit gaming console.

...

There have been significant breakthroughs in technology thanks to improvements made through facts & science.

Yet despite witnessing firsthand how facts and science have contributed to reshaping and progressing both technology and society.

Despite witnessing firsthand how mastery of facts & science can lead to the wealth of Elon Musk.

Many hold the opinion that knowing facts and science is a complete waste of time.

Is it a contradiction of terms?

How will this play out over the long term.

It seems that somebody has developed a chip that works with light rather than electricity. It's millions of times faster than the fastest chip out there.

HUGE Quantum Breakthrough: Light Takes Over! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnsbSdb-9h8

Listen to the first minute of the video to see how fast it really is. Oh no for Bitcoin. The wallets and the blockchain can be hacked easily with this.
