My best guess is that you lost access to your wallet and would need anyone to aid you in getting access to it.
Passphrase remains an extra layer of security to a wallet and it’s recovery, if it’s to serve its purpose, then you don’t expect anyone to be able to come up with it for some reward. You might want to make peace with that fact.

For the required work and necessary equipment, the offer might even be low.  It sounds amazing until you keep your GPU running 30 days 24 out of 7 and wonder why the hell is it not working, and then you find out you need way more than just your GPU.

Most likely this...  He seems like a guy that got bamboozled into purchasing a worthless wallet.dat file and now thinks he can get the community to solve it for him after realizing he'll never be able to do it himself.  The problem is that nobody else will be able to do it either.  If it were possible, he would do it himself.  I'm guessing a few weeks of heating his home during the summer and wasting electricity probably got him to try this route, but it is as futile as if he were trying it himself, only now he's trying to waste other people's time and energy as well.

Seems like one of those guys who buys a wallet.dat on the dark web that has unaccessible coins due to not having the passphrase. I would advise against anybody bothering to try & brute force this for him. How do we even know this wallet has any coins or if he will honour his part of the deal. If something seems too good to be true it usually is. We literally have nothing to go off, not even a part passphrase, best to skip past this nonsense.

There are many digital places where you can go and search for people that will try to crack it.

What a generous offer from OP. I have been wondering why nobody has requested that OP escrow the total rewards for this task, so we could know how genuine and realistic he is, because I still can not see any sign of OP being serious about this, but just a mere write-up, irrespective of whatever anybody here has written about it. 1 Proof of funds
I can’t sign from the locked wallet, but I can sign from a separate address that already holds > 10 BTC.
• I’ll PM that signed message to any senior member (OgNasty, ABCbits, BitMaxz) who’s willing to verify and post the hash here.
• If you’d rather see on-chain proof, I can move 10 BTC into an escrow-controlled address first (see #2).

2 Escrow
Happy to lock the bounty with a forum-trusted escrow (OgNasty, minerjones, Hhampuz, etc.).
• I send 10 BTC → escrow address.
• Escrow releases it only after they confirm the passphrase decrypts the wallet.
