The Next Battleground: Equities, Stocks Onchain via Perps

The next big thing to be fought over in crypto could be equities and stocks onchain.  But how do they port it over?  Tokenized stocks would be good but I think the easiest way to do it would be to offer perps markets because all it needs is a price feed and a party that's willing to take both sides of the trade...  Aka a market maker.  

Right now there's only one protocol that could do this and that's Hyperliquid...  But there are others coming like MegaETH's GTE, Sogo, Lighter, Bullet and a couple others.  I guess it's gonna start a new kind of competition on who does it the best.

If you guys are living under a rock and haven't heard the news yet, yeah...  Phantom wallet which is mostly a Solana wallet or a wallet built mostly for Solana has just integrated a perps product.  And how were they able to pull it off..?  They integrated Hyperliquid via builder codes.    This is huge as Robinhood has integrated an onchain product too to deploy their tokenized stocks offering via Arbitrum. 

I guess once Hyperliquid deploys their onchain stocks via perps product Phantom is set to directly compete against Robinhood.  Good times.
