That's the most security practices for crypto users. Every time there's a new app update, you should verify every single update to make sure it is authentic.

The original app you recently verified is only for that installer. So if Trezor release a new update you should verify it because it's a separate file or app.

Trezor Suite verifies updates for you. You don’t necessarily need to verify each update if you verified the original download, but you could do it by downloading the new update from Github and manually verifying it.

If you want to be sure you can do verification each time, or you can just use Trezor web version in your browser that is automatically updated to the latest version.
This even works in Tor browser and they have dedicated onion address, for better privacy.

The verification is done in the background if you are updating through Trezor Suite. You don't have to do it manually, but there is nothing stopping you to do it if you want. You don't have to update Trezor Suite from the app. Everything you need for the verification is available on their website. Download the latest version, the signature file, and the 2021 signing key. Start Kleopatra and verify the authenticity of what you downloaded.

Everyone who commented on this post answered your question, but I'd like to add that, whenever you want to check for a new update to Trezor Suite, you can check directly on their github: https://github.com/trezor/trezor-suite/releases

New versions are gradually made available to users (it depends on the importance of the update, such as security, bug fixes, visual improvements, or new features). For example, the latest version was released yesterday (v25.8.1), a pre-release, but when I opened my Trezor Suite, which is on version 25.7.4, the current stable desktop version, my Trezor Suite hasn't yet prompted me to update (automatic updates are enabled).

I didn't know Trezor Suite offered an onion link. I just checked the official website via Tor, and indeed they provid an option to access the domain through onion (for those who don't know, Tor will always display if a site has an onion mirror address).
