How many OGs are left in this thread? Report those bastards posting trash to up their rank, so they become eligible for signature campaigns.
I have to navigate 3-4x more pages to get a grasp on the state of the project, thanks to reckless children chasing scam tokens Smiley

The March salary of the STORJ project recently dissatisfied many of the miners and made little profit, hoping that the project side could improve the embarrassment.

Estou neste projecto a quase 3 anos.

StorjProject worth investments? What news? I don't see a lot of attention to this project. Lately, on the market a lot of scammers and that's why I research the market precisly. My last investment ADH has already listed and released beta, in 2 months after Tokensale, and it's very good result.

Yes I received my payment and I must say that it wasn't what I was expecting as I really thought that I would of earned a lot more in March as my HDD's were running for the whole month of March with a few of hours of downtime due to power outages and also updates to my OS. I would say all up my HDD's were down for around 5 hours max in 31 days so to receive what I did was a little disappointing but I'm willing to stick with it for now. I hope my April payment is a lot better as I have had even less downtime then March for the whole month.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Hoping for pennies  Grin
I got $2 in March for holding 5GB of data online for a month. After calculations, harddrive's electrical usage cost is $2. I'm not calculating the computer itself. But as they stated many times, it is in experimental phase. They also advise NOT to buy any hardware as it will not pay out.
At some point this should change, or the coin will die.

Everybody is hoping that companies will switch over to distributed storage, however I'm well aware how important and delicate is the storage portion of computing. You can sacrifice everything else, but not the storage. So I expect some bulky company to use it for not-so important data. Usualy some research project with petabytes of data. However Tape storage medium is dirt cheap per TB, and Storj is still not. If it becomes cheaper, we, miners will get even less.

So the only thing that can help is even more customers, willing to use the network. And that requires a lot of advertising and leg work. Too bad the team is not updating here very regularly with what is the next step and delays the already small payouts.

This however has a good side - price of token drops and some see opportunity for earning Smiley

At present, the Storj project has fallen to the ground, and users can download and use Storj software. Compared with some ambitious projects but still in the white paper stage, Storj is very practical.

The thing to understand is that "storage" isn't really a good business model.  A lot of competition fighting over pennies.   Where Storj will be different is in the distribution / bandwidth model.   Think of it like Bittorrent.  You upload a file and it is distributed in pieces to many farmer nodes.  When that data is requested, many nodes provide pieces simultaneously.   This makes the transfer very fast, in theory there is no upper limit if you have enough node distribution of your data.

Bandwidth, for online storage, especially egress, is expensive.  It's very expensive when you move out of local region pricing and look at global pricing.  Storj is half the cost of the majors at local pricing and significantly lower than global.

You can't think of it like glacial backup tape storage.  If you want to store data for a penny a gigabyte, there are answers out there for you.   Storj is about distributed bandwidth.   High availability.  Global availability.

They are busy at Storj Labs making improvements to the protocol.  Expecting good things.  The company has ramped up staff and has teams of developers working on different aspects.

There will be a townhall meeting where the public can ask questions soon, and there will be some reveals and discussion about the new improvements.  If you're curious, you should attend.  They'll be posted details about exact dates and such soon.

Storj encrypts the files, decomposes the files into encrypted data blocks, and then stores them on the network in a distributed manner. This coin is currently in the first tier of the block chain project of the central cloud storage block.

The market for central cloud storage is very large, and the STORJ project is very promising to know that the Internet cloud storage giant Amazon is currently market capitalization of $700 billion.

Will Storj be challenged by the coming Filecoin? Will most of the present Storj storage providers turn to mine filecoin when the filecoin main net is launched?
What's the plan of Storj dev team?

There are tens of thousands of users in the community. With the increasing demand for cloud storage and the continuous progress of Storj online operation, the prospect of Storj will also become better and better.

Wow am I glad I didn't invest in this one. Liked the idea but saw from the get go it wasn't wise to invest. With their ridiculous goal of 9800 BTC it was obvious that the interest of investors wasn't a primary objective of these guys. And now see what happens, must be one of the worst ROI of recently launched coins.

Each user of Storj can share his spare hard disk space and get STORJ token, so the royalty is cheaper.

Storj's token STORJ has been on more than a dozen exchanges. The current price is only about 1 dollars, and it is only 2.5 times that of the public, and the room for improvement is still very large.

Many people don't realize that they can use their Exodus wallet to buy Storj.  The farming aspect is going to take sometime to recoup.  Another way to invest is to use Exodus swap.

I have a hard drive of 3 TB (1.5 GB used).
For several months of payments - zero !!
or rather .. there is one payout - exactly 0 coins !!!

1) What the fuck is going on here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the project is promising (I thought so earlier), but now the greed by Shawn Wilkinson and Storj is just amazing !!
There is no development of the project!
Payments, I do not see!
So why the fuck will I support him!

2) The blog of the company was full of whining that very few farmers! You do not have enough farmers and space on hard drives!
So why do I have a driver of 3 TB filled with only 1.5 GB Huh?

You have many, many words and smiles, and promises, you take the money of investors .. and then there is silence!
You sold a lot of coins on the pre-sale .. where are they? Where are the coins for farmers?
Can you steal all the money? Or do you spend all your time drinking and eating?

You are very similar to Putin and the government of Russia!
You are very similar to scammers.

earlier I received 1-2-3 dollars a month. Beggarly payments. !!
go to the ass with such payments, greedy freaks.
To whom do you pay thousands of coins? Himself ??
And then you drop them on the stock exchange !!!
