Do You Check Provably Fairness Hashes?

Being the first to cast a vote i have to drop my 2 cent on this and reasons why i vote for what i voted on, the fact that probably fair system is in place, if i dont suspect anything along the line, i dont check to re verify the games fairness despite having the harsh avaliable on my records.

Most times some games that i need verifications for are not listed under the coverage of the probably fair games on those reputable casinos with probably fair systems in place.

This might be a good survey but I know how people are. Know that almost everyone will not check if a games is provably fair or not. I think there is even a discussion about this on this gambling board like two days ago. But take note that some people will still check it but they are not many but few in number but if they see unfairness in the game, they are enough to let people know about it. What many people will like is reputation.

I rarely check to confirm the provable fairness of casinos I play on. I only do that when playing on a very new casino that has not built a reputation and have not done so in a couple of years.

I will suggest you add a question or do a separate poll to know if players actually check if a game is said to be probably fair.or if it is not. Some players do not care about provable fairness at all and some are content knowing it is probably fair without checking the hash.

If you don't check a roll result once in awhile you are essentially giving the casino the opportunity to cheat you so everyone should check now and then just to have peace of mind. Most casinos are likely not going to cheat you, but ya never know. I'd rather be safe then sorry.

I do, but rarely, and usually do it when I am experiencing a long lose streak(I'm sure a lot of people do the same too), I mean, I know a long lose streak is inevitable to happen, but it is understandable to check if something fishy is going on if it happens.

regarding "I check every game/round", it sounds exhausting.

This all depends if I am using trusted old casino that I am familiar with or some new casino I am just testing out.
For new casino I could check fairness hashes few times, but not for every bet, only when I suspect something is suspicious and not correct.

I mean, I did it a few times just to understand how it works and all that, but I don't really care about it. I either trust a casino or not. Gambling is a tricky thing, especially when we lose... people tend to believe it's all rigged, and in some cases maybe it is, but generally speaking it's just gambling... sometimes we win, and sometimes we lose.

By the way... we can check provably fairness when we play in-house games, but when we play slots, it is what it is....

Very well, jusr checking the game fairness once in a while is somewhat ok, but then it a pain in the ass checking for what you dont have
suspicions about, most gamblers dont mind checking because they already have trust for the casino and knows that their ant cheating in any way with the games outcome, so left for them to just check once something goes wrong with the games outcome and that rarely happens.

I voted I never check as that is what I do. Maybe in dice, mines and other originals game it is a great idea to check and from what I have seen in the Youtube videos of people showing such tests, they are successful, meaning most original games are provably fair based on their seed/client thing as I don't want to get the details. The reason I don't care is that I play slot machines and slots despite the providers showing that they have been audited and bla bla bla, the truth is, most of the providers offer more than one level of RTP and they usually give power behind the scenes to the casinos to mess with RTP and use the lowest of the levels if they like to do so. Of course both casinos and providers deny this but they have no way to verify that what they are saying is correct either regarding slot machines.

Yes, when I play any house edge games and if I keep losing there, I probably check the hash to see if the casino platform is cheating me in any way. Because by checking this hash, the authenticity of the results can be verified. I think that platforms that use probability fair operate their games fairly. Because everything is random there, it is verified. And in this case, casino platforms cannot cheat their users. If all these are correct, it is easy to accept that what happens to me is my luck. maybe many people don't know this, but I check it occasionally.

Sometimes when I feel that something is off, then I immediately check if there is something wrong with the gambling platform that I played. It turn out that it's just I have a extreme bad luck.

Good thing for checking provably fair is that it I will snap out of my gambling, as I wanted to chase and recover. So I will just stop and says that I just had a bad luck and I'm going to lose more if I continue.

If you already know that the game is rigged, but the hash doesn't show anything suspicious, you cannot actually do anything. There is no point in checking the game result if you do not know how to verify it and what to verify. Most of us use the tool the casino suggests. We copy and paste the data, click on verify, and get the result. I don't think anyone who doesn't understand how it works would be able to find anything wrong with it. Have you ever seen anyone who was able to find anything against a casino related to fairness? I don't remember seeing such cases. I don't know if it is possible to manipulate the Provably fairness system.

I occasionally checked the fairness of my game, usually I do use auto feature to run my strategy especially in dice game and you won't be able to check each one since sometimes my strategy runs for hours and it reaches tens of thousands of bets and it's impossible to check them one by one.

I usually use check it when my bot stops (20+ consecutive losses), and of course all of it are verified and fair. It's just that there's no strategy that could work perfectly not unless of course, you have an unlimited balance.

I only play in reputable casinos, so I have hardly any doubt about their game setup.  But sometimes when my curiosity hits me, I try to check the hashes for provably fair gaming.  And I am quite convinced with the result since the hash of the server seed(the one given at the start of the game) and the real server seed (the one shown at the end of the game) tally.

I never check the hash to prove whether the game is fair or not because, for me, playing at a trusted casino with a good reputation means that cheating is impossible, so I don't check the hash in the game myself.

Even though people say checking is important, I don't care about it anymore.

I never check myself because I would spend so much time checking every bet I made, but I only play with big money on games that have provably fair because at least the casino has a reason to be scared of scamming me, because once in a while someone will probably check their bets and detect wrongdoing which is a death sentence to the casino reputation.

Maybe I check if I have a super big loss to make sure it was all unluck odds. But I never bet this big so no reason to do this, I just move on to try again later.

I think you are right. People always trust first and check only if something went wrong, but this just shows the option is required if any suspicious arise.

At first I had no idea how to properly check it, you basically need to check it yourself manually to be sure its real. So I just assumed the website was being honest. Then I learnt that its easy to check and checked it a few times and it was correct.

I find it interesting how there is proof that you can't get cheated with this system. Because before you roll you can see the hash and then you will know if its the correct one or not. If only Las Vegas slots machines had this type of fair verification system.

Pretty sure people just check it once or twice and if its true then they trust all the rolls. Why would a casino switch the rolls on some but not others. They wont know which rolls you check or not. So its very diffcult to cheat the gambler this way.
