I am pretty sure CamilaStar and Cryptohunterkill are owned by the same person.
Cryptohunterkill makes topics to ask questions and then CamilaStar reply to his own account. That's probably done to earn merit.

The last three topics have been deleted and their links navigate you to ninjastic.space.

Cryptohunterkill created the topic to ask a question about transaction fee and CamilaStar replied to that after 10 minutes.
The attempt was successful and CamilaStar earned 5 merit.

2. I believe that banks will accept Bitcoin:

3. You need to run a Bitcoin node:

4. Beware of scammers:

And here is the funny thing.
Cryptohunterkill created this topic to ask if it's a good idea to post his artwork in the forum.
As always, he replied with his alt account (CamilaStar) to his own topic and suggested posting his artwork to himself.
Two hours later, the cheater posted his artwork, but he used the wrong account and posted that with CamilaStar instead of Cryptohunterkill.


What do you think about a red tag (or at least a neutral tag)?

Wow nice catch op

This is a very easy way to earn some merit. Because merit sources pay more attention to the first post of such a topic and if the first post is found to be good enough information, merit is given there. He has observed it well.

That means he is not the owner of only these 2 accounts, he has more accounts and he has been in this forum for a long time. So he knows where the weaknesses of merit sources are and how to get merit easily, and is trying to hunt merit using that strategy.

With how CamilaStar was posting topics, he is Cryptohunterkill in my opinion as well. He is posting topics and being the first person to reply to his own topics to earn merit, that is uncalled for. Both accounts are worth neutral feedbacks. Although, some people may see this as no enough evidence. Even if they are not the same person but friends, I think they may be farming merits.

This is ridiculous.
It is even funny that he didn't last long with his shenanigans. You easily bursted him.
As for if he deserves a red or a neutral tag. I know that having an alt is not a crime, the crimes comes in when you do any or all of the below;

• Share merits between your alts
• Join same campaign or contest with your alt
• Engage in conversation with your alt in such a way that people will think you are two different people.

So, cryptohunterkill seems to be guilty of the last one.

I think I remember a case where someone who tried to do the same in the past, though I can not recall the usernames anymore. The alt account would ask some dumb questions, and then he would use his main account to reply as soon as possible. He farmed merits for some time until he was busted.
Believe at the time, that person probably got tagged.

In this case, a neutral is more than fine. It will act as a note that the person has an alt account and uses it to farm merits. That way, they won't get merited again. If the accounts are caught cheating in any contest or signature campaign, they should be tagged.

Nice catch and I agree its likely the same person. I would just go with a neutral tag personally speaking unless if there is more definitive evidence connecting the accounts and they cheated a campaign or contest together.

This is a very obvious case but there are many others that are less obvious. You wouldn't believe how common this behavior is among alt accounts. People think, "If I reply to my alt, then no one will suspect we are alts." Its like no, you just look like a schizo who likes to talk to themselves.

I don't believe you either, but I'm going to give you some advice by considering both scenarios.

If those two accounts are managed by the same person, stop being an idiot. For now, you've only gotten some neutral tags. Use the forum without shortcuts, try to learn and contribute, and over time those tags will become outdated, or they may be removed, or you may earn positive tags that counteract them.

If, as you say, you are two people who are friends, stop being an idiot, especially about this:

Is that the case here, IDK, just saying to be fair it should be considered. I don't know either account BTW, and most of the time(99%) the community accusation is right. I like lovesmayfamilis doing some added investigation and finding some more evidence.

You're entitled to your opinion, I have no interest in trying to persuade you 1 way or the other. Let's assume it's true that they are 1 of these answers though. Technically they would be doing nothing wrong as they are 2 separate people. Is that the case? Most likely no, I just tossed the scenario out there.

The OP and lovesmayfamilis both added supporting evidence which I am fine with and I expect if people are being accused of an activity. We rarely see where accusations like this are not true as we have some very good users at calling these cases out.

Exactly, It can never be a coincidence after all those times. It means it was either all planned or one person owns bother accounts. I could have my brother or sister join Bitcointalk forum, but I would not bother about pushing them to rank up or earn merits through shady ways, let alone get to know their usernames.

I think lovesmayfamilis' findings even give more reason to have the accounts tagged or banned.

This is one of the tactics used by those who think they are so smart that they can speed up their "progress" on the forum. Their problem is that they do it very superficially and without any imagination, so they are easily noticed.

I think I do the same. That account was kind of a high-ranked user, but we are talking about a new account today. The question could be, are they really newbies? They are using both newbie accounts to earn merits, not by sending merits from their accounts, but by manipulating others. This is one kind of red flag of cheating, and I would personally tag them in red. As I can see, the OP asked if they deserve negative feedback. I see no one tagged them in red, so probably not for this reason. But I wouldn't trust this user at all. Even if no red tags, those neutral feedbacks are deserved. I think people are giving them a 2nd chance, considering they are new here.

Funny story: Few days before adding the merit system, i introduced the forum to a friend of mine who was interested in crypto trading and to encourage him join the community i explained how he can earning money by joining a signature campaign in the altcoin boards Bounties because low rank members are often accepted starting from Junior membership. I remember he started posting as a fresh brand account then few days later the merit system was implemented and my friend noticed that he can't rank up because he can't make quality posts. So he thought about hiring someone to write quality posts in English so he contacted an english teacher to write posts for him. The problem was that the teacher has no interest in cryptocurrencies and know nothing about it so he started learning about crypto to be able to write posts to sell them to my friend. After few days the teacher learned about trading and started investing and forgot about selling posts for tiny amounts. After then, my friend forgot about joining the forum and stop trading after got scammed by unknown profile in telegram and the teacher became a successful trader Lol
