No one try to bully you here. If you feel say, bring the link to such post where someone try to bully you here.
What they are trying to do is to correct, teach and share their own experience to you, whether in a friendly manner or harsh way. And if you are the type that wants to learn, you wont go into any argument neither you will grasp a thing or two from what he said, added with your own research.
We all went through this phase, your not alone, so keep calm and learn.
You’re right, nobody here is trying to bully anyone, and I genuinely appreciate the corrections and guidance from senior members. I’ve actually learnt a lot from many of you.
But I still feel that teaching or correcting someone doesn’t have to come in a harsh tone. Sometimes the delivery sounds more like shouting than advising, and that difference can affect a person emotionally or reduce their confidence, especially newbies who are still trying to find their footing here.
I once came across a discussion where a higher ranked member complained about how newbies create topics, which was okay. But the tone he used there could easily discourage someone who genuinely wants to learn.
Please don’t get me wrong, many of you are very helpful and I respect the knowledge you share. I just believe guidance can be firm without being discouraging, so more newbies can learn comfortably and grow in the community.
