At least when you move around or play at different tables, you’re being monitored, so it helps keep you safe from anyone with bad intentions unless the casino itself has something shady going on.

As the name implies they are called security cameras for a reason and this is so that their casino can be accountable for any event that transpires in the casino that jeopardizes the security of the casino and the security of people in the casino. I think gamblers should be more reassured knowing that there are security cameras around than few affected negatively by it.

i would feel safe if there are security cameras because it means if ever someone attempts to steal from me or attack me there will be proof which i can use to file a lawsuit and prove my innocence

i do not see any reason to feel alerted by security cameras unless you are planning on doing something illegal or something that casinos won't be happy about

It was uncomfortable at first, but as soon as you get used to it, you won't even think about the cameras, and all you will think about is the game. Back when I was playing in a poker room, I was also looking back and forth at the camera as if I was going to do something bad. But I am not. It's just that I don't understand why they will need so many of it but a friend of mine did explain to me everything.

When a player appeals that a cheating is happening, then the cameras will be the proof of it. Luckily, that never happened during the time I was playing there.

Actually, privacy is very much important and truth be told that all gamblers should prioritize it because it's very very important. However, if I'm to gamble on a land based casino I will not be comfortable because of the camera all over the place. I will definitely feel like they are watching my gaming patterns. But since human beings atime will come when you will be comfortable with it. To be honest, those cameras are more for security than a threat, but I get what you're saying, that sometimes they can be a little confusing. Casinos are covered in surveillance cameras to prevent any kind of fraud, conflict, or scam, not to see how much you're betting. Some players feel uncomfortable with the cameras watching them, and they make mistakes in their bets, especially on big bets or when they're betting aggressively.

But I think that as long as you're playing honestly, the camera is your friend, because it can save you from any kind of jackpot or payout problems. Sometimes yes because I do card counting on blackjack table so I do mumble silently which makes me anxious sometimes when I knew there’s a security camera.

But I don’t experience any inconvenience by playing other games since there’s nothing wrong on my game. Security camera is dedicated to find anomalies on the game so I have no problem playing on a pure random game such as other table games or slot.

It doesn’t bother me at all. In this day and age we are being watched everywhere and anytime. The phone I am using to type this message also watches my every second. I got used to it, I mean being watched. Casinos need these cameras for security reasons anyway. Almost every retail store has them. For Currency exchanges, jewelers and casinos, it is a must. It's like walking into a shopping mall and start being worried because there are cameras at every spot whereas you are just there to shop for what you want and do nothing wrong, sounds insane doesn't it? Why will I be gambling, and there will be CCTV camera monitoring me? I feel it’s not making any sense, if I decide to gamble, and I notice that am being monitored, then I won’t visit the casino house again, I will get somewhere which I know I won’t be monitored. I my country, you can easily find land base casino house, they are so much here in my country, so if you are not satisfied with the environment of the one which you are using, you can just decide to change location, if the one you using is having security cameras and you are monitored, change to the one which is not having security camera.

Whenever am gambling and I noticed that am better monitored, I will never be comfortable, because I will definitely be having different thought in my mind, what are they going to do with my video.

I went to brick and mortar casinos a few times and to be honest didn't put much attention to the cameras.If I remember correctly there was a few 360° cameras and possibly much more of them that I didn't noticed. Why are you even bothered about security cameras? I've never given them a second thought. No, I am not affected in the slightest because there are security cameras in every shop and all over the place these days, I only ever hear of them being used to help identify criminals after a crime has been committed and I never plan to commit a crime so am not bothered. In a casino it is slightly different as they will be monitoring your play and habits if you're in a game like blackjack which you can abuse them on. The average player and people that aren't running a strategy against the casino are not going to be bothered by that either. I think a bit different since you are going there to play around. Not everyone want to be coverage going to places, the supper market are protecting what's theirs but casino is basically protecting two things which is you, some people do bad and evil things which management wouldn't be able to answer and also protect their properties. God forbid, if someone died in a casino and police want to investigate what happen in the casino, how possibly will the owner explain if there are no cameras.

I think it's justify able and make sense that a casino to have cameras, common business does have it on their shops and we don't complain or feel awkward, it's now casino cameras we will be feeling uncomfortable. What if some of their vend or slot machine was once stollen before? Alot can go on and on if a business is not having a cctv camera to monitor the operation of the business.

I have always done my things that are gambling related online.
But come to think of it, and like others have said, anyone that chooses to use a physical casino has automatically given up his/her identify, so the context of privacy might not really be a problem here. Besides, Cameras should be made available in every businesses, and casinos shouldn't be an exception, in case anything goes wrong. And mind you, the dealings in casinos involves money, so I feel there is a need for cameras, and users shouldn't find a problem with that either (IMO).

Is cheating on physical casino is still possible? So far I don’t heard this issue on local casino since it’s hard for players to cheat physical game that they don’t have any control of the game.

Maybe it’s possible on slot using a device to rigged the system but on table games I can’t imagine to cheat it except blackjack if card counting is still possible.

But overall, aside from security camera there are security watching the vicinity on site.

Security cameras inside a casino are for security reasons and also for monitoring gamblers. A lot of establishments (not just casinos) have them for their safety and the safety of their customers. I don't see any reason why it would affect me or anyone negatively. If someone is anxious about being judged, then online casinos are their safe space.

It seems that security cameras are now commonplace in businesses such as casinos and other stores, because almost all businesses now install security cameras to monitor for unwanted incidents that can be seen on CCTV.

This includes my own home, which has CCTV for security purposes.

It makes sense for physical casinos to install these cameras for the safety of both players and casino owners, but I think it could be excessive to use them to influence players' bets.

In my country there are still no land-based casinos that I can explore so it is difficult to make a further understanding of something like this but in the end, when there are so many surveillance cameras or cctv in the casino area, the purpose may be more complex than what we as players perceive.

Maybe some people will not care and maybe some will not be too bothered by it, but certainly in this case I feel that when casinos apply the standards they do then CCTV in every corner or even cameras in every game (maybe) could be a standard security reference because after all they deal with money and it cannot be denied that even though there is security on duty but to make it more comfortable if the expected things happen then surely something like that will be prioritized.
