If you are just a regular gambler in a casino and you have nothing to hide I don't think that you will be bothered about security cameras watching every activities in the casino. I will rather think that they will be comfortable that security cameras will deter anybody that has mischievous agendas for coming into the casino either to make trouble or cheat. But I understand that some people values their privacy and they won't like to be captured in a casino CCTV when investigating any future crime. I believe this is one of the major reasons why some gamblers prefer online games where their privacy is guaranteed, to them physical casinos are for socializing.

Exactly, this is not knew and don’t bother me at all considering that I’m not the only one being watched on security camera while most of the establishment such as mall, store and other building have this kind of security.

Yes I am affected knowing that there are security camera everywhere but in a positive way.  I feel like everything is monitored and secured since every action of an individual in the area is monitored and any suspicious being is watched.

I do not know how can the story be negatively related to security camera, the story indeed shows how the casino does not act promptly  and probably the security on security camera are sleeping on their job.

It is a clear dispute between players not the casino security and the player... although, the casino should take responsibility of failing to arrive on time.

There’s a big difference since on the bank you are just withdrawing/depositing funds while on casino you are actively applying betting strategies on your game so if you have a thing about someone watching you this security camera will be bothersome.

I have not visited a physical casino in a long time, but as far as it goes I don't feel any discomfort provoked by cameras all over the place and over head. I believe it is just matter of getting used to it and people learn to focus on the luxurious ambience of the gambling and on whatever games they are playing.
If someone feels privacy is more important than actually stepping into a gambling floor, then that person would better suited to stay home and gamble on a computer, where there will be no cameras tracking their session and their movements on the casino.

Camera monitors people, but it can’t watch everyone all the time. It’s mainly there for a reason to record what’s needed and cover all the key spots. But once they notice a suspicious gambler who keeps winning, that footage becomes really useful to check if there’s any cheating involved.

And I think cameras are required by regulators anyway, so it’s not something new or something we should be against. Most gamblers who actually go to physical casinos don’t really see it as a problem when it comes to privacy.

In land-based casinos, CCTV has become a priority in land-based casinos, apart from monitoring security and so on, CCTV is not something that should be used as a basis for visitor safety, in fact the opposite is what I see if CCTV is not there, visitors feel uncomfortable playing in the casino, in general CCTV will witness honest and fair gamblers, without manipulating the game, especially when playing dice, poker and so on.

For me, CCTV cameras are not a serious problem for me, they actually benefit gamblers who are really experts at playing in the field of gambling, so CCTV cameras are a must for some gamblers, including me if you ask.

Well, if we don't want to be bothered by those things, ignore them and stop thinking that someone is monitoring us. Because as long as we are not cheating, I don't think we need to be afraid. In fact, it was for monitoring purposes, just like how we put cameras in our house for security reasons. I also love to play in land base casinos here, but I don't see any issues with security camera around. It's for our safety as something might happen inside and with camera's around it could have been prevented. I have one case that I witnessed about a gamblers seemingly oblivious and suddenly he started running and was able to get away before the security was able to apprehend him.

Maybe he was cheating or he knows that security is closing in on him. That's why he run and successful was able to get out of the premises. But we all know that there are security in the outside too.

That's right, if I went to a casino and knew there were no cameras, I think it would make me feel a little concerned. It would be abroad, I suppose, because in the UK and the EU they are mandatory. CCTVs are on everywhere, you walk on the street, there might be few CCTVs have record your move. I think if someone don't have any bad intention wouldn't think about CCTVs, actually you should feel safe because if something happen to you, the CCTVs could be the proof.

Nah it does not affect me at all. In fact, it gives me this sense of security in terms of my safety especially if we consider the criminal activity around these casinos.

While I do notice some CCTC cameras scattered across the entire casino, still, it does not contribute to my anxiety as a whole. Instead, I am more focused on my bets as those cameras are the last thing that I would be worried about.

the part that I bolded out isn't always the case.... tthough I mostly gamble online, but then I still can relate to the stress both physically and mental stress that gamblers may face when their every move is under surveillance. This is coz I am not really comfortable and free whenever I am in placess that makes use of series of CCTV. This is not because I am planning on doing something bad or whatnot.
