source and it is on my news sources a couple of NBA stars were arrested for illegal gambling and other charges by the FBI.
Among those arrested was Chauncey Billups the head coach of Trail Blazers and Terry Rozier of the Heat, it is not good for sport and gambling that stars like this get involved in illegal gambling when they are supposed to be role models to young athletes and fans.
What is even more distasteful is that this illegal gambling had connections with miafia groups and aside illegal gambling there was money laundering, racketeering and other crime.
Gambling is decent and responsible we don’t need this publicity. Illegal gambling and player influencing bets that they are playing in makes gambling sour, more laws and regulations should be enforced to prevent this moving forward.
