[MEGA] MegaETH Speculation

Here's another of the more anticipated projects to launch this year...  MegaETH.  The prelaunch market was just made a couple or so days ago in Hyperliquid.

What is special about the token?

It is worth knowing that a coin or token being in premarket does mean the coin or token will later have huge prospect. Even some tokens that had premarket were launched and started to dump.

People should use small amount of money that they can afford to lose. And if they make money, they should sell before the coin or token will start to dump.

There is presale going on with MEGA on echo with english auction starting from 10m FDV, could be worth a try but I bet it will hit the ceiling at 1B FDV which is still x4 gain from current pre market price.
I wonder if anyone here have experience with echo presale? I'm contemplating right now whether it's gonna be good investment or not.

Not really special, but it's an L2 with hype .

^  Some guys at CT are saying that their presale is priced lower than current valuation which means that it's cheaper than a prior presale they did a few a months ago..?

How does that work?  Seems like if it's too good to be true, it prolly is.  But dunno.  I'm prolly just jealous because I don't have an Echo account.

I'm thinking MegaETH is gonna go down so hard and because it's more like a juiced up, centralized, single sequencer L2, it's prolly never gonna recover after it hits bottom next year.

All the ICO buyers are prolly thinking like airdrop farmers right now...  They gonna dump those bags as soon as it hits their wallets.  Lolol.

All eyes are back to BTC and waiting for pico bottom.

ICO purchases are dominated by influencers, right? While ICO purchases with small amounts are said to be refunded again and those who managed to buy with $182K if I'm not mistaken.

At the wrong time MegaETH came and the market was in a high correction.

They won't get a big multiplier like that.

After the string of TGE's on these high profile projects, it looks like MEGA is gonna be the next one in line.  I'm not really that excited for it as I didn't join any of the multiple ICO's that they organized...  But what do you guys think?  You guys think MEGA will have better price action post TGE or will it be another one like Monad and Plasma?  

No one seems to want to buy into these new tokens anymore.  At least not when the market is looking like the way it is rn.

Don't expect too much, maybe after listing the price can increase 2x after that the price will plunge uncontrollably, this is not much different from Monad and Plasma or several other altcoins which are predicted to increase many times but in reality they are not in the market.

Even if the advantage of 100,000 TPS and monad has 10,000 TPS there is no advantage here --- everything is purely how the market and community react while the usefulness of the product is still the best ETH.

The hype has passed for megaeth, they took too long to release now people forget it for the most part. The only people still remember megaeth are megaeth presale buyers.
However, i see their retrodrop quite interesitng, since presale FDV is high, the allocation for retroactive activity in their mainnet such as staking might actually give good APY.

I mean with the huge FDV and all, for sure the percentage of allocation in their tokenomic will have good value. Will be observing how much money is bridged there, will participate if not too diluted.

^  Yup, they took to long to go to mainnet that their pet DEX project went on to accept outside funding and started to develop their own L1.  Lolol.  You guys remember GTE?  Yeah...  They're now going to do like Hyperliquid and build everything in house.

But in the MegaETH eco, there's one project that I'm excited about and that's Top Strike.  It's a player trading game but player values happen live as the games are happening.  Top Strike would be fun with the World Cup happening next year.

If I'm not mistaken, they already held a pre sale but the participants funds were all refunded, I don't know what the reason was but I was originally also interested in participating in the pre sale.

Now they are holding another pre sale? interesting because I tested the network in the testnet program and the confirmation rate is faster than Monad.

I monitored their official channel on X but there was no information about the pre sale. The last post was made on December 24th and I've left their Discord Channel so information is limited.

What you mentioned above was not the pre sale. It's a pre-deposit campaign used to fund the liquidity for MegaETH mainnet. They refunded all of pre deposit caused by it's poorly executed with the only whales who can enter it. So they decide to sunset that pre deposit campaign, and return all of the money.
