What country is that, over here you can't dear to use your mobile device while driving and if you caught in the act you get pulled over and not just pay fine through the mobile Court but you also be taking in for brain test and if God is not with you get a ban from driving for a long period of time, so most driver's over here are carful while using mobile phone when driving aside from the risk of accident the government placed a high priority on life and such abuse is highly punished over here.

I had a truly alarming sight on my way home recently. I saw a guy actually placing bets on his phone while driving down the road. He was totally distracted, glued to his screen instead of the traffic ahead.

That’s purely addiction, how will you be driving and you will be gambling, this is the first time which am going to hear something like this. Why will you take that kind of risk just because you wan to gamble, it doesn’t make sense, the person should be taken to a rehab center just to be taken care of, am sure the person really needs help.

The person is endangering his own life, and he is endangering the life’s of people around him because if accident will be happening, then it’s not going to be the one affected, even people around him will be affected. I feel the person’s license should be revoked, he shouldn’t be given permission to drive.

Rehabilitation is the only way to make such a person realize their mistakes. I believe that if they are caught by the police, they will face sanctions, not just the revocation of their driving license. Gambling while driving shows that the person has reached a critical level of addiction, they are not only risking their money but also their own life and the lives of others. The logic of such a gambler no longer functions normally, they have made gambling their top priority while neglecting traffic laws.

Even replying to messages or making phone calls while driving is already considered dangerous, let alone placing a bet, which requires even greater focus. If gambling no longer brings you any sense of enjoyment, then never add new troubles that could lead to serious problems in your life.

This is so wrong , as a gambler suppose to know when to gamble and when not to , cause am pretty sure the fellow would have been so distracted at that moment cause gambling sometime can be so distracting especially when one is addicted to it cause this is definitely a sign of addiction, gamble whenever you are free and trying to while away time and make sure you in full control  not the gambling habit making you do somethings that will affect you negatively .

Such character is not found in a sane person imagine driving and gambling when he is not the only driver on the road does it mean people are more concerned about money more than stay alive and healthy, you know the value of life that's why you will not indulge in such unhealthy act that could cost someone his life. Well, this is so terrible and a very annoying attitude, because your life is more important than your betting, what if afterwards you placed a bet to meet up with your target, and at the end of it you won a huge amount of money, but you couldn't be able to cash it out since you are gone, even if your are not more, the gamblers or people would still continue their betting, and you would live no more. So it's better and advisable to sit down comfortably before placing a bet, don't place a bet while driving. But all these things always happen to those that are strongly addicted to betting or gambling, in which they could not do anything without betting.

Everyone should only have eyes to the road when driving. No gambling, no texting, not even too much talking if you need to look at the other person instead of driving, always look ahead. I would film him and report to the police, depending on the country he can get fined.

But this is not a direct issue only with gambling, many acidents happen because of texting which is why using a phone when driving is ilegal in most countries

Acidents happen every day but some people think they are immune to it. Then they get injured or worse hit someone and there is nothing to do to go back

Yh the dude is totally addicted to gambling, and if nit taken xare or will lead to  accident in the future, driving on the road on a normal day is risky then doing some thing like gambling makes it worst, who know thats the one you where able to see there should have been more that have even died as a result of doing that.

In such situation the best thing to do is to park toir car at a good place and bet whatsoever you want to bet but you doing it on the road is not just putting your life at risk your also putting others at risk too. If any ine is seen doing such he/she should be arrested.

Nah, I got addicted to gambling, but I will never do this because when I’m playing, I don’t want any distractions. Gambling can wait until I get back home where I can play continuously. Even checking updates on my bets, I won’t. I never did this. I don’t know how others can do it. Yes, I've seen it many times, not exactly in online gambling, but in phone conversations via text message. I don't think this is a red flag of addiction as such, since I associate it more with another irresponsible act by that person. I could assure you that just as they take out their phone while driving to gamble at the casino, they also do it to send messages or check social media. I have also seen drivers that did this on a public transport. They went viral in my country and I don't know what happened next to them, they've been playing scatter, a kind of slots and many of my fellow countrymen are hooked with it. I think that it's too much and an actual addiction that we're seeing from these people if they are gambling while driving and they can't remove themselves in front of the screen while going somewhere else. If the guy was driving a Tesla with autopilot it wasn't really that dangerous. There were cases of people sleeping while driving on a highway 100km/h
Even recently they caught a guy who used autopilot to get him home after a party. He was so drunk he fell asleep and the car kept driving by itself. The police had to block the car to stop it.

If people are using their phone while driving a normal car with no autopilot, it will eventually end bad. Driving slow with a phone is much more dangerous than driving fast with eyes on the road.

I don’t know why people become so desperate to put themselves through that. What stops them from actually packing their vehicle just for a while, at the grocery packing lot, the restaurant or some place safe and get the best done. Booking a bet while driving is very dangerous because that is an unsave act and against drivers road worthiness and can lead to road accident, what ever you are doing, it is very imperative that you should consider the safety of your life first before any other thing, there is no way you can be focused, your mind will be totally divided and you will likely not be able to even place a good bet as you endanger your own life at the same time.

Sports betting requires total attention, because sometimes you are required to make a research on some games before you can place your bet , like knowing the club line up and also find out if any important player is not fit to feature in that match, so when you become distracted and you are unable to do these things, you make a huge error that will destroy your betting.

People doing that are in addiction level since no sane people would ever think about gambling while they are driving.

Normal people would priority their safety, but people doing that is in crazy condition especially that they provably can't focus on what they are currently doing since for sure their attention will be split and they would look on what's happening to the games they are playing.
