Sitting at a tea stall and talking about cryptocurrency seems illogical to me, because such modern topics are rarely discussed there. Usually, conversations at tea stalls revolve around politics, social issues, and diplomacy. So, discussing something like Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in that setting feels quite unreasonable, in my opinion. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Your opinions will surely encourage me to make even better posts in the future.

The Bitcoin community has grown through conversations among young people in coffee shops. Besides discussing political, social, and cultural issues, coffee shops have become hubs for the rapid dissemination of information among the community and the younger generation. Any information gathered on social media platforms is then shared in coffee shops around town, where the relaxed atmosphere of their discussions sometimes lasts until late at night. Economic topics are also discussed, with Bitcoin as a key theme in the future, one that will change their destiny. Therefore, I believe coffee shops play a significant role in the development of the Bitcoin community. The Bitcoin community among the younger generation uses coffee shops as a place to grow.

You can talk about cryptocurrency if you happen to be sitting with friends who share the same interest as you and are also actively trading cryptocurrency.
You have to open up first. Some folks are shy or hesitant to talk about their losses and portfolios, so they prefer not to discuss them and open up only to people they trust who will not judge them.
I am comfortable talking about my experience investing in cryptocurrency to a tea stall as long as our conversation stays between us and nothing leaks out, so I prefer to talk about it with close friends.

Your idea is really good you’ve beautifully explained how coffee shops have become centers for young people’s discussions, where new ideas are born, especially about Bitcoin and the future of the economy.
However, it’s very important to maintain balance when discussing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

Tea and coffee shop discussions are meant to be light hearted and not serious ones like how to make money from crypto currency. You would be better off not revealing your ventures into crypto unless you are willing to risk your neck to robbers.

Then again, where to discuss when you have problems about crypto? This forum obviously, it gives you some level of anonymity and everyone here likes that and takes that privilege.

On another note, when someone picks up discussion on crypto, just go quiet and listen what the rest of the people are doing - remember the famous line from Kali Linux - the quieter you become the more you hear.

Is not unreasonable if the discussion take place there, although a more private and non public areas are very good to have the discussion but when work does not give the chance apart from the one you have at the tea stall you will definitely use the time to discuss about it if you want to, a tea stall is a place without a limitation of any kind of person but is not a place people use to be very loud because is very quiet and you can hardly hear anything the next person is saying except they intentionally want to be too audible for the hearing of anybody close to there table, if the place was unreasonable somebody wouldn't take there work on there laptop to be doing while they are taking there tea when anybody could see it. If there is some implications it would also affect having a discussion about politics because there could also be conflict when someone who disagree with your political interest is there.

It's a bit weird that you think there are set places to talk about set topics. If you're in a jacuzzi or skiing on the side of the mountain and you decide to talk about cryptocurrency, why does it matter? You mention politics, diplomacy, etc. which can lead to all sorts of dramatic and controversial conversations, but crypto also feeds into those subjects because it is just how technology is progressing within civilization. I am struggling to understand the context, I guess the equivalent in some countries would be "at the water cooler" which is usually much more casual conversation and not serious subjects you mentioned.

The discussion could be fruitful if the right people are around. If you are fortunate to be around people who have an interest in crypto, you would have a good discussion. Many people don't have an interest in Bitcoin, and discussing with them will be a waste of time. People might even think you are a scammer if you introduce a discussion about cryptocurrency. They don't believe that such a currency is legitimate. Maybe because they are misinformed or have been scammed.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Your opinions will surely encourage me to make even better posts in the future.

Your post is not bad, but there is still room to improve.  I suggest you should concentrate more on reading information from the forum than starting threads.

Yes, seeing my example, your opinion may not necessarily be influenced in the same way, because crypto is a platform where things can be conveyed in various hints or signals. Considering that aspect, your statement can be regarded as somewhat acceptable.

Personally I wouldn't discuss anything cryptocurrency in public, not because it's unreasonable but because of privacy concerns. People might wrongly conclude that I'm a big player or I am already successful in it when I explain about it so beautifully and that alone may undermine my personal security.

I always prefer being very private with my involvement into crypto.

I don't know what country you're from, what the security situation is like there, or how many bitcoins you own. But I think crypto has become popular and investing in it is like stocks or gold. If we are comfortable talking and discussing other investments, there is no reason to be nervous when talking about cryptocurrencies.

As long as we don't share or brag about our balances, and just discuss, exchange and share knowledge with each other. I think we will be safe.

Everyone may have their own perspectives on privacy, but I think I used to be almost as closed off as you were to crypto out of fear of my security.
But after the rise in Bitcoin's popularity, it had a positive impact on young people and adults in my area, and it's no longer a secret because many people are already aware of cryptocurrency.
So, there's nothing wrong with discussing it in public, wherever we are, because we don't need to reveal our identities, just pretend you only know about crypto from social media.

I don't know where you from, but perhaps that is a good start as to why crypto is not being discussed publicly. It could be that your country is against crypto? or that your government doesn't embrace or nor it's illegal, meaning it's in between for now.

On the other hand, if it is accepted then perhaps it could be a dangerous thing to talk about it in public. I'm sure do hope that you know that the physical attacks on crypto enthusiast are in the rise. So you don't know who you talking to. Maybe those people are not to be trusted and knock on woods, they won't attack you when you tell them that you have crypto. So it's better to not discussed it at all when you are out.

At least I am not going to be surprised if they discuss cryptocurrency at the tea stall. Because even last night at the tea stall we discussed cryptocurrency, though we were all friends. But in a regular discussion we can't see such as seen on the tea stall. Often we see political discussion or social issues. Only when we sit there with all our friends who are only familiar with cryptocurrency.

In my country there is not much discussion about cryptocurrency, even on social media. Because crypto isn't legal in my country, and it's considered a criminal offence. So discussion about crypto in the tea stall by the general public is like luxury. Probably you may see such a scene in a country where cryptocurrency becomes legal tender, like El Salvador. Otherwise we have to discuss it between friends.

I always prefer being very private with my involvement into crypto.
But come to think of it, don't you think that if everybody decide to keep their cryptocurrency involvement private, who will then tell those who have not heard about cryptocurrency, or those who have heard about it, but still in doubt of it? Although I don't like using the word concurrency, because it's a general name so in that case I will specifically use Bitcoin to say what I want to say, So IMO if you decide to keep your involvement in bitcoin private, your are not a good bitcoin enthusiast, because you have easily forgotten that the more people involve themselves in bitcoin the more Bitcoin grow in price and reach New average high, so stop being selfish by keeping Bitcoin only to yourself, tell others about bitcoin, so that they can also benefit from the Bitcoin project same way you are benefiting, tell them you are holding Bitcoin so that they can believe what ever you have  to say, but don't tell them the real amount you are holding in bitcoin, if possible have a separate wallet with small amount of bitcoin on it that you will be using to cite example to those unbelievers.

In fact, many coffee shops are now designed for young people involved in trading, and they often trade together, which naturally sparks casual discussions about the broader crypto world. I once visited a coffee shop like this and saw many young people discussing Bitcoin and other coins. The PI coin launch was very popular at the time, as many of them were discussing coins within the crypto world as a whole. It wasn't about whether it made sense, but rather that discussions like those in tea shops had expanded to include other topics, as people typically discussed politics and social issues, which are actually more prevalent in the crypto world.

If you were in my area, you'd probably see a surge in discussions about crypto in general, and this is beyond my expectations. Many young people are now creating communities for trading crypto, stocks, and other digital currency-related activities. This is a positive development, encouraging many young people to learn financial independence, as long as they engage in the right way, rather than engaging in the Ponzi schemes that were once popular.

Discussion can go anywhere, and it usually revolves around interest and not the location.

A tea store is okay for whatever discussion you want to have, especially with people who have the same interest as you, but because it is a public place, it may not be the most appropriate for such discussions because of safety due to lack of privacy.

If it is a tea store that has private sections for people, then it is cool.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

Certain discussions are not meant to be outside or within a specific area. It's not about being scared now, but it's about being cautious of your own safety. Bitcoin's discussions, especially when discussing about personal investment is definitely not a good idea. We've seen and heard of cases of people that are being kidnapped by security forces, or in the airport, and are forced to transfer their funds. If you follow the beginners and help board a lot, then you should know what I'm talking about.

Though, there can also be some light form of conversation that doesn't necessarily have to do with what you hold. Example of conversation might revolve around how negative or positive the market has been. But, it is best to avoid certain things, than taking the risk in the first place.
