Some Accounts That Have Engaged In Suspicious Activity

As the barometer for linking accounts is getting higher and hence more difficult, there has to be an element of circumstantial evidence to consider on occasion rather than concrete evidence that some might require before either taking action or supporting the action other people take. Account farmers are becoming better at leaving less clues to track.

For one reason or another, the following accounts seem suspicious. Most of them exchanged some merits with accounts that are already tagged as suspicious as well as those accounts that most of us would not even consider giving a single merit to. Without delving too deeply, I made a decision to post their names in order to allows other members and those named to post their views. If they are enrolled in campaigns, the name of the campaign and campaign manager are listed alongside.

I anticipate some will post to protest their innocence whereas others will probably try to avoid posting through fear of their other farmed accounts being noticed. I also anticipate some respected and trusted members that could post a defence for one or more the accounts (it is possible), however over the next couple of days I will add appropriate trust where I deem it is valid and would be willing to edit any tags if I am pointed out to be wrong/probably wrong. As you might have noticed, some of the accounts have already been tagged.

This list is another part in the compilation of dubious accounts that are not too difficult to find. The first part was the list of 13 accounts mentioned in the link. In this list, many (not all) of the accounts are connected by one country local board but that does not justify all of the merits distributed.

I've been looking at that local board for months and there was something strange about it.
I didn't understand how some new accounts could accumulate even 300 merits in 120 days, it was just insane!

Regarding those two accounts, there are several things to take in to consideration including one accidentally posting using the credentials of the other. There is an element of the infamous banned industrial sized account farmer and compulsive liar naim027 to think about. Also, the post that exposed one account was operating the topman21 scammer account.

I've been looking at that local board for months and there was something strange about it.

In some cases in the past, merit used to be rotated on an industrial scale because they need it to rank up accounts in order to enroll in campaigns. Some Full Member campaigns pay $70-$75 per week therefore reaching 100 merits does suffice for them in reaching their goals. If they try to rank up faster to Hero/Legendary rank, they will probably get caught therefore do not want to take chances.

The list of accounts in this thread is intended to invite conversation and debate, to discuss how these accounts have been operating and what can be done to remove suspicion from those that might deserve the benefit of any doubt and to discuss how to confront any account that conducts in nefarious activities.

Only very few puppets like you, do merit based on account and not everyone. Most do merit based on content and context of the post.

You must explain your expertise level in local languages before accusing anything happening in local boards.

He's certainly not a newbie. But if you track similar activity, I don't think you can catch all the farmers. Especially not by asking them how many accounts they have.
I'm sure there's some kind of agreement in the Nigerian section about sending merits in a chain. And anyone who gives merits within a minute or less of each other can be considered a farmer. I don't think it's possible to quickly read messages, especially old ones. If you look closely at the merits sent, they are given for posts more than a month old. This means there's a targeted exchange going on. Merits are sent in pairs or more, so the recipient has the opportunity to send more.
If your goal is to catch these scoundrels, I think you could add at least half, if not all, of their local section to the list.

sir, you have to understand that some of the newbies coming into this forum already have prior knowledge on Bitcoin and other assets. it is not only in this forum that someone can acquire knowledge about Bitcoin .

Just that almost everyone in this forum thinks as a Newbie, you should know nothing at all about Bitcoin,That's not how it should be.

JollyGood! I don't think it's necessary to comment here, I don't know why you added me to this list, what is the reason? You can check my merit history. Here, some members are my local, and I am an active member in the local thread, so I sent merit on good posts in the local thread, I don't think it was wrong, you can check it. And if someone gets or sends merit on good posts in the local thread, then you want to say it was wrong? So it is not reasonable to take action against someone just on suspicion.

I am well aware of rules of this forum and have seen people getting banned for violating rules of this forum. I have sent few merits to my local board members but they are in no way associated with me. I sent merits to quality posts and that too once in a while.

My account is over 3 years old and I have seen people getting registered after me and getting to higher ranks of Hero and Legendary. I was said a slow mover in my local board . But I am not taking any shortcuts to get to higher ranks and that's why I am still at rank of senior member because I know if you take shortcuts then you will be caught sooner or later.
