Now that is one beautifully designed announcement thread, whoever made that did a great work. One question about this wallet though, it's not open source right? I guess that's understandable to some degree since they do offer a bunch financial services and features. It's also good to know that they have official licenses already acquired, some even from Canada. https://docs.cwallet.com/licenses-and-registrations/official-registration-and-licensesKYC doesn't seem to be mandatory but just like any other crypto-platforms, they can require it if they want to or needed. https://docs.cwallet.com/cwallet-security/cwallet-kyc

Yeah, also commend on the design as well. What a great a job! Sorry to say since is a web3 crypto wallet/trading platform, is there no way it could be that someone can sign up independently without having to connect and associate their original wallet to this trading platform, or someone would have to create the wallet on this platform and move the required fund to trade over there @irfan_pak10 is it so?

I agree with julerz12, this is a nice animated announcement thread.
As for the wallet, it looks very familiar to me. Isn't it CCtip that we used to use on Telegram and Discord back in the old days? Did they rebranded it and name is Cwallet now? Or was it Cwallet from the beginning? I remember those old days when we used to chat on casino servers,, and the moderators would send tips via this wallet to the active participants. This is widely used in Telegram groups as well. I searched for CCtip again, and Cwallet appeared instead of CCtip. I just checked the Bot on Telegram and I still have 5.82 USD there. Probably someone tipped me which I do not remember anymore.

Thanks for the feedback. And yes, it’s not open-source, mainly because of the regulated services. KYC stays optional unless you’re using features that legally require it like cards or fiat-related tools.
Users don’t need to connect any external Web3 wallet. They just create an account on Cwallet and can trade or move funds normally whenever they want. I agree with julerz12, this is a nice animated announcement thread.

Yeah, you remembered it right. Cwallet is the evolved version of the old CCtip bot. The same team built on that base and expanded it into the full wallet and trading platform you see now. Here is the announcement about it: https://cwallet.com/blog/cctip-is-now-cwallet-the-only-multi-functional-crypto-wallet-you-need/CCTip Is Now Cwallet!
As part of the ongoing development of our company’s identity, we are delighted to announce the change of our logo & brand name from CCTip to Cwallet. This CHANGE isn’t bland, but one involving genuine GROWTH in line with our vision of conforming with future-changing Web 3.0 reality...

Nice work irfan. It's an amazing design. They did well assign you to represent them in bitcointalk community.
With over 68m users who trust Cwallet, the service is already active since a longtime. Why we just hear about it today? I thought i am the only but other comments said that too. With over 68m users at start, this is an indicator about potential expanding growth in the near future.
The concept on combining many features in one app isn't that new. Many other services did the same already which makes this field full of powerful competitors. Does Cwallet team aim to expand more with a certain marketing strategy?

Too bad that the Cozy card is not a no-KYC debit card. Adding another competitor to the list would be good for everyone. It's unusual to see that the USD Premium that costs 100 USDT to activate doesn't support Google Pay and Apple Pay and only supports ATM withdrawals and POS payments. At the same time, the 12 USDT USD Master card supports both Apple and Google Pay. For such a premium cost, users should receive all the features.

I quickly went over its wallet section and I'm confused about the following things: - On "this page" it mentions the withdrawal fee for bitcoin is according to the network, but based on the other information on that page, it could also depend on its price... Which one is it?
- I'm asking this to know if the current fee is a direct result of overcharging fees (screenshot) or it's just the latter one? - It appears that Cwallet also has a non-custodial wallet [source], but I couldn't find a way to switch to this type of wallet. Could you please point me in the right direction?

I would be happier if I saw an official representative of their company. I know you are connected with the team and handling the ANN on their behalf, but as I said, I would be happier to see an official representative from their company. I used this bot a lot, even without having an actual wallet on my mobile device. If you had a Telegram or a Discord account, that was enough. I had a lot of worthless tokens in this wallet, as well as some USDT and BNB. As I mentioned before, I still have some USDT left, which was probably tipped to me. I believe many people still remember them and consider their first-ever free money wallet.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and the less-than-ideal experience. 🙁 To clarify, the Cozy Card is a prepaid card and does not include traditional account functionalities. The physical card application fee is 79.9 USDT, and the card supports ATM withdrawals (fee: 2%, min $1; limit: $1,500 daily). Please note that the USD Premium Card is clearly listed on the application page as not supporting Apple Pay or Google Pay. For a perfect match, we recommend using our feature filter tool here. You can select your desired features, and the system will show you the best card. 🙂 We appreciate your understanding and hope this helps! That's a great observation regarding the wallet section, and thank you for bringing up these important questions. Here is the clarification on the withdrawal fee and the non-custodial feature: About withdrawal Fee: The Bitcoin withdrawal fee is dynamically calculated based on the current price of Bitcoin (and network conditions). It is directly related to the BTC USD value, which determines the final cost you see. About Non-Custodial Wallet: You are correct that Cwallet previously supported a non-custodial wallet feature. However, this functionality will be gradually phased out. We are focusing our efforts on enhancing our core custodial/hybrid wallet system to improve the user experience for new features. Let me know if you have any other questions! -snip-
Good to hear that you have so much to tell about your great experience with CWallet. Hope you'll enjoy more with latest features.

The network condition is the only thing that affects the speed and cost of (quick) confirmations. The blockchain doesn't care about bitcoin's value to confirm transactions. If we apply logic to what you just said, it would be fair to assume that the higher bitcoin goes, the less sats will be charged as withdrawal fees. Also, if bitcoin falls much lower, the service will charge more sats for withdrawals.

If we apply logic to what you just said, it would be fair to assume that the higher bitcoin goes, the less sats will be charged as withdrawal fees. Also, if bitcoin falls much lower, the service will charge more sats for withdrawals. You are correct that the blockchain itself only cares about network conditions and satoshi-denominated fees, not Bitcoin's market value. Your logical assumption about withdrawal fees is often true, but it depends on the service provider's policy: If they peg their fee to a fiat value, then yes, a higher BTC price means a lower satoshi fee. However, if they base fees directly on real-time network conditions, the Satoshi cost will correlate more with network congestion than with BTC's price. So, the core network principle is correct, but the application to withdrawal fees can vary by service. Hope this helps clarify. 🙂

The physical card application fee is 79.9 USDT, and the card supports ATM withdrawals (fee: 2%, min $1; limit: $1,500 daily). Please note that the USD Premium Card is clearly listed on the application page as not supporting Apple Pay or Google Pay. That amount would be acceptable for physical card only if there are not hidden fees, like monthly fees or inactivity fees. I didn't find information about paying delivery fees to different countries around the world, but that would also increase cost. Another potential issue is that card can stop working any time, and I am not sure if they can freeze coins if something is triggered with aml blacklisting. About Non-Custodial Wallet: You are correct that Cwallet previously supported a non-custodial wallet feature. However, this functionality will be gradually phased out. We are focusing our efforts on enhancing our core custodial/hybrid wallet system to improve the user experience for new features.
Using just non-custodial wallets can only harm customers. I would also be careful with any crypto card that is asking customers for their occupation considering it as a risk. Customer’s occupation is one of the essential factors in the customer risk profiling. In most situations, connections can be found between customer’s occupation / employment and customer’s source of wealth, geographic locations and expected transaction activities. Amarium s.r.o. classifies customer’s occupations into six risk levels (i.e., Extremely High, High, Medium High, Medium, Medium Low and Low) referencing the Occupation Code List issued by U.S. Census Bureau and peer financial institutions’ practices. https://docs.cwallet.com/normative-documents/risk-classification

Thanks for pointing that out. I’ll confirm these specific points with the team so the details are fully accurate, especially around delivery fees and any regional handling rules. I’ll post an updated clarification here shortly once I get the official response. Edit Response from team. 1️⃣The fees for the physical card are clearly marked on the application page. Note that the card has no monthly or inactivity fees, but you must maintain a positive balance (>0). Should you trigger an AML flag, you will need to submit a ticket for review by our Risk Control department. Finally, the physical card includes free shipping.
2️⃣We assure you that Cwallet is a safe and regulated platform that will never leak your personal data. We require occupational information solely for mandatory AML/KYC compliance, which is a necessary security measure.
