There must be a reason for a thread lock, you're not just seeing it like that appearing for anything, which the first possible cause had been suggested from the first reply you got, other reasons could be that you do not adhere strictly on the required posting pattern, repeated thread, spamming or even trying to include broken sensitive contents or links, while the last aspect that might have caused this is when you have duplicate threads.

Moderator of the board usually locks the thread right? Most likely, if a thread was locked maybe because the thread got too long and redundant and there is no more any new valuable information being added. In that case if you want to add more to your thread, just make a new one.

Take it easy my friend, he had to throw those random possibilities which could linger to a thread lock because he does not know the exact offence that may have got the Mod taken such action.
So since he is not the Mod that locked the thread, he can only outline what possibly could cause that. Perhaps he has no clue about the content or contexts of your thread to even justify it.
Maybe next time you should include the thread so others can also see. The forum does not also support the policy that you should be informed or notified about your thread getting locked. So either first replier and second replier were on point.
Though could be some other reasons.

Io, why did you ignore this first response to your post. Funny enough the post got merited. I also understand the answer and how it related to the question in OP. I seem confused and more confused because OP ignored that very answer.
Meanwhile, mods lock thread if any of the below happens;
1. The thread is becoming a spam feast
2. Some trolls trying to hijack the thread
3. The thread is exhaustably discussed.
4. The thread is a duplicate of an existing thread in context.
There could also be other reasons.

Your post could be seen as spam or often being repeated.
It will be better to make some search about that particular topic you want to post here on the forum before you can go ahead creating that topic, but nowadays you would see new users who just signed up the next he will go ahead creating topic to ask question without them making use of the search button to know whether someone has already created similar topics or post.

Not to mention most of your threads are quite related So a few could be locked so you can focus more on specific while preventing spam.

Edit : Older posts were not locked which affirm the theory that you have created threads that are quite similar
And could have been posted on a thread you created earlier.

The reason is pretty simple. I just looked through a couple of your threads, and it's quite clear that you keep posting/complaining about the same thing over and over again. Be grateful that the threads were not even deleted because in certain cases, they just get deleted.

It's very simple why my threads were locked.

Doesn't matter where on the internet you go, Twitter, YouTube, Nostr. If you talk about bitcoin, the subject of spam and core's op_return nuking a filter comes up.

But here on the msin forum? Almost crickets. I have been on this forum for years. Never had a post deleted or locked, of moved to an other section.

But as soon as I start talking about core being compromised, or spam, my thread gets moved to an obscure section nobody reads. Or zi get banned for a week, or my lost gets deleted.

Some of us are working on a soft fork, that's a pretty big deal. Yet some admobs on this forum really don',t want you to learn too much about it.

These are all your topics and only the 4 that I marked with red arrows are the ones that are locked while all the topics in the green rectangle are pretty much on the same subject with more or less similar content, so they can all be considered duplicates and what you are doing to be considered spamming, hence the reason why they got locked...
Something you repeated in the Meta board as well (the 2 topics on top).



If you had stuck to one or two topics, and kept the discussions clean there your 4 topics would have never gotten locked.

This your question is somehow confusing. If I got you right, it seems like you are not pleased that some of your posts were moved to "a less visible board". Sorry, this is something not personal and has nothing to do with visibility. If you have observed carefully, you would realise that this forum values organisation more than anything else. Every topic here have their boards they best fit in. If the post you created had nothing to do with Bitcoin Discussion, it will be moved to the appropriate board by the moderator. This can happen to anyone. So to prevent this from happening again, ensure that your topics are posted in the relevant boards. You can check the description on each board. Posts which go against the forum rules can also be deleted without any prior notification.

I have read more than once where op alleged that there is high level of sensoring in the forum in order to silence him. He complains that his posts are deliberately moved to areas of lower visibility. I never thought such a thing could happen. How did Op come up with such an accusation.

Posts are moved when they are in a wrong board. I don't know why Op is seeing it differently. Users disagreeing with you on certain critical issues doesn't mean you are censored. Take it easy, if it is beneficial to the network, it will be adopted at the right time.

That you're not notified on forum PM after your message thread was locked does not render it not following the die process.

This was not the first of its kind, we have several members that made such complain before now and I can remember some of the reasons for that.

The moderators merged some of their post related topics together, you can imagine that you have two or more threads for a single service you provided, definitely one will be merged with the other being deleted or locked, this is my honest opinion though, I don't know the exact cause of yours being locked.
