Hello I have been keeping eye on my total shares and best share ever and recently got up to 5.41G Shares and best ever so far showing is 4.81G Shares until a update to 7-8G Shares assuming but Best share is now showing 721.75M as if it restarted itself?  imaged here https://ibb.co/mF2zT4yy

A little bit of help in understand would be appreciated! Smiley

That "Best Share" stat gets reset whenever CKPool hits a block. So it tracks your best diff in between two blocks found by the pool.

What CY4NiDE said is spot on, "Best share" on CKPool is a per-round stat, not a lifetime score.

CKPool is basically treating everyone as one big solo miner. Each time the pool actually finds a block, that round is over and a new one starts. When that happens, your "Best share" gets cleared and starts counting again from the next shares you submit.

Seeing it jump from a few G down to hundreds of M doesn't mean anything broke or restarted in a bad way, it just means a block was found and the scoreboard for that round got wiped.

I have now became 31st on the CKPOOL top 100 user difficulties since this post lol CRAZY

Sick find on that 7-8G share!  Nah, the "best share ever" stat doesn't reset it's yours forever. You're probably just seeing a small display glitch in the dashboard. It'll likely fix itself on the next refresh. Your luck is absolutely cracked

Thank you! My current shares now total 25.40G! still 2.46T Best share ever! ranking has lowered but am getting a new miner that has 42TH/s and my setup should be doubled and might get a new best share if lucky!!
