The whole world is really evolving, mankind didn’t really see threats in extinction of manual labor and reduction in need for humans generally until now, since the invention of AI i can say that we are really feeling the impact, technology is good in the sense that it opens way for development however it has its harmful effects too. I won’t be surprised that few years from now many skills might not be needed again, for example my friend created an app of recent that can measure the cardio thoracic ratio for chest X-rays, this was something that was done by doctors previously, yes it has an advantage in the sense that it’s a faster way of getting quick results but it’s invariably reducing the relevance of the doctors, in some countries robots serve in some restaurants hence reducing the relevance of the attendants, most countries like America today are practicing modern warfare they can defeat an entire nation simply by pressing few buttons, hence services of foot soldiers to and extent is reduced, they use drones too sometimes.

So you see humans have to up their game, my advise is for people to start developing their skills in tech so that they can join the moving trend, the world is changing and if we don’t follow the moving train we will be left behind in the scheme of things,  with the way things are going soon 70% of skills won’t be needed anymore, hence let’s pitch our craft in a way that it adapts with what is needing in our world of today.

The video you saw on Facebook and TikTok where a man puts his head inside of a machine and the machine cuts his hair perfectly under 10 seconds is not a real video, it is fake and ai generated. There is no machine like this which exists today, so I don't know if you are a barber too but all barbers and hairdressers can sleep well as nobody is taking their job tomorrow... Lol... No doubt I know for sure a day will come in thr future where future machines may be designed to come to cut simple hairs but if even such thing happens, they cannot take people's job from them because people will still go to human barbers for their nice styles, good talk and special feelings. So it is just like people still go to restaurants to eat even when there is fast food machine.

You have said it all because my greatest fear ever since AI was introduced to reduce stress of humans in some kind are of life and which was a very good idea to humans but the method or the approach in which humans are now making use of AI is so alarming in such way that in future times, this will remove some skills men and professional men, then we will know realize that the work of AI course harm than good to the society, i think this is the right time to put stop to those that is abusing the work of AI in the social media or rather the government should put law restrictions in use of AI, so that they can monitoring who is supposed to make use AI in the right ways than using it to blackmail their follow humans in the society.

There’s a growing fear that technology especially artificial intelligence and automation will soon make self-employment obsolete.The thing is technology is not eliminating self-employment,it is reshaping it.Technology will not wipe out self-employment,it will only reduce outdated patterns,while expanding smarter, more flexible, and more creative opportunities for people to explore and adapt to.Those who resist change may struggle, while those who adapt will thrive.In the age of technology,self-employment isn’t dying it’s evolving.This is a massive expansion of self-employment and opportunities,not a reduction or job killer scope.

Yea, we are in the technology era and technology will continue to be recognized for making work easy for man. However, that will be in the developed countries and not in Nigeria. Nigeria believes in manpower than technology because we're still backward.

Our problem here is not that technology will take over human jobs but it's that there's no job anywhere for the citizens to work due to lack of adequate job opportunities by the government. So which job technology won come take for we country.
