Hey everyone — long-time lurker here (my post history proves it 😅), finally sharing something! A new project: Crypto Address Monitor. It does exactly what it promises: real-time alerts for crypto transactions across 10 blockchains. There’s a free forever plan (3 monitored addresses, email & webhook alerts) — feel free to check it out.

The project came together after several users here mentioned struggling to find a solution.

What is it?

  Wallet Monitor is a self-hosted SaaS platform that monitors cryptocurrency addresses across 10 blockchains and sends instant notifications via email or webhooks when transactions occur.
  Perfect for  anyone who needs to know the moment funds move.

  UTXO Chains (1-2 second latency):
  - Bitcoin (BTC)
  - Litecoin (LTC)
  - Dogecoin (DOGE)
  - Bitcoin Cash (BCH)

  EVM Chains (3-15 second latency):
  - Ethereum (ETH + ERC-20 tokens)
  - Polygon (MATIC + tokens)
  - BNB Smart Chain (BNB + BEP-20)
  - Arbitrum (ARB + tokens)

  Real-Time Detection
  - UTXO chains use ZMQ push notifications directly from  nodes - transactions detected in 1-2 seconds
  - EVM chains poll at configurable intervals (3-60 seconds depending on block time)
  - Automatic recovery if messages are missed - every block is verified against received transactions

  Flexible Notifications

  Email Options:
  - Realtime - Instant email per transaction
  - Hourly Digest - Summary email with all transactions from the past hour
  - Daily Digest - Summary email once per day

  Webhooks:
  - HMAC SHA256 signed payloads (verify authenticity)
  - Configurable endpoints per address
  - Automatic retry on failure
  - Auto-disable after 3 consecutive failures (with email notification)

  Event Types:
  - transaction.detected - Fires immediately when transaction enters mempool (0 confirmations)
  - transaction.pending - Fires at 1-5 confirmations (Pro/Enterprise only)
  - transaction.confirmed - Fires at 6+ confirmations (Pro/Enterprise only)

  Smart Rate Limiting
  - Per-tier hourly limits to prevent abuse
  - When email limit is hit, transactions automatically queue for digest delivery
  - Webhooks are rate limited based on account tier, once the limit is reached we silently drop them. 
  -  100/h for freemium, Starter 1000/h and pro+ tiers have unlimited webhooks
  - Users receive email notification when rate limit is reached

  Hot Wallet Auto-Detection
  - Monitors transaction frequency per address
  - Automatically blacklists high-volume addresses (exchanges, hot wallets)
  - Blacklisted addresses forced to digest mode to prevent notification spam
  - Protects both the platform and the user's inbox

  Direction Filtering
  - Monitor incoming only, outgoing only, or both
  - Reduces noise for deposit-only or withdrawal-only use cases

  Minimum Amount Threshold
  - Set a minimum amount to ignore dust transactions
  - Per-address configuration

Cool site, and cool features.
Since only 3 monitored addresses are free, if I wanted to monitor just one EVM-compatible wallet address, does your site monitor that address's movement across all EVM chains?
Or is it tied to just a 1:1 ratio? 1 address = 1 chain is monitored?
Also, do you guys have an app for this? It might be a great idea to make an app, since most people nowadays use a smartphone.

Hey, I've tried with different ideas, it seems i forgot to update that page. I removed it completely, its mentioned on the main page and in the account.
I update something on the backend and i forgot to restart it, excuse me. I've been trying to push this to prod for a while and i missed something.

Since only 3 monitored addresses are free, if I wanted to monitor just one EVM-compatible wallet address, does your site monitor that address's movement across all EVM chains?

We monitor EVM based on network, as in, you input your ETH address and we'll monitor it only in the ETHEREUM network. This includes all the tokens in the network. If you receive 100 WHATEVERTOKENS, you'll know.
For the moment i think its enough, if i had to implement every idea that came to mind related to this project, it would never see the day light.

As for the app, did not think about that, but if this project gets some traction, i'll consider it.

It also provides webhooks, so you can actually leverage existing apps. If you're working with Windows, use toast notifications (built-in features and modules) written in PowerShell.

Alternatively, you can simply create a bot and implement its API to forward notifications. Perhaps this could also inspire @mave_ instead of building a separate application from scratch.

Nice UI. I tried creating an account, but it's difficult to bypass the CAPTCHA.
Is email/webhook notifications the only way to receive notifications? Are there other notification methods supported?

Are notifications received as soon as the transaction is broadcast, or with the first confirmation? How does the system handle RBF?

I'm sorry you have that issue with the turnstile captcha, cloudflare offers that service and its usually reliable. Are you using a specific browser? I've seen it act up with undetectable or dolphin anty.
The captcha is added to prevent abuse from bots or wannabe hackers. It should help the user not restrict his movements...

I amended my first post with information about this project, how it works, what it can do.

About webhooks, at the moment we can send regular webhooks, discord webhooks (for channels), and telegram webhooks. I thought these 3 methods + email would be enough for starters.
About RBF, the discussion can go in several ways, at the moment my application can notify you on transaction.detect (0 confirmations), on transaction.pending (1-5 confirmations), and on transaction.confirmed 6+ confirmations. You can choose to monitor only the transactions that have +1 confirmations and that kinda fixes the RBF issue. Another thing is, this version of the monitor (the engine behind the whole project) is a branch of another monitor i created for a different project, which works in a different way (it has a different use case). And that monitor does check if transactions are dropped/respent.

As crypto guy, i wouldn't accept 'payments' or i wouldn't consider payment a transaction that has 0 confirmations. That's like flashing money in front of my eyes... but not handing it over. :-)

hey, yeah, that was my main point, at least for starters... to have a method that could be implemented in other apps, a callback.

Thank you, I was finally able to play around with a few random addresses and everything was delivered to my email almost instantly ^{[realtime mode]}, but I noticed it didn't count the hourly digest notification I received earlier as one of the sent notifications in the notification activity bar chart... Is it supposed to be like that?

It should be shown on the dashboard ( i see 6 notifications sent, 5 fast, 1 hourly). The hourly and daily digest are not rate limited. Mostly because i still want you to receive emails after you reach your limit.

What I would like to see is sending messages on SimpleX chat, that would be something new.

Discord we already do, same for telegram, i'll invest some time in checking the browser notifications part and if possible, simplex chat.

Great Work @mave_ This is a very good project, you can explore more and maybe add some monitoring features that can be added to your source code.

I've been using a combination of Spreadsheet and Telegram to monitor my wallets with Real Time price changing.

Another addition might consider would make it more interesting to your customer:

1. Displaying funds from wallets.
Based on this option (Only displays balances on one network, not all networks)


Here's a simple display that I can suggest. Maybe if you have better layout skills then that's up to you.


2. Dark / Light Mode
For dark and light mode, of course, each person's taste is very different, but it would be better if the developer provided this feature.


3. API (Application Programming Interface) Show balance without login
Maybe for paying customers, you can add an API that directly monitors the activity of the installed wallet without having to log in to the website. However, they still have to visit your main website first to see it, only the way to see it is only using the API.


Good Luck, I believe the project you are working on is very useful and has great potential.

1. One of the ideas that started this project was to show address balance, after an initial sync. I left it for later, pushing to finish something that can be used and later on, be improved. So yeah, i have that in my books for later.
2. The Dark/Light mode will come later, definitely.
3. This can be done as well, if the address is monitored by the system.
