Gambling is more than that, what I know is that people should not expect to win the house, that is just it. They house planned everything in a way that most people will lose money so that they can enjoy, earn more money and pay their workers and continue the gambling business. Emotions don't actually affect placing of bets, what affects one's emotion is the outcome of the bet that has been placed for example if you place a bet that Team A will win Team B and after placing the bets Team B won, you will be left with regrets from the outcome especially when you had bet with a huge amount. I understand that there's no gambler that bets without having some emotions attached to it even though you're just playing for fun.

What keeps a gambler going is self discipline and control over emotions, having a budget for yourself is good because it keeps you in check on spending recklessly on betting. I think we are missing the important aspect. If I gamble with my money and I do it for the love of the game, I will  not allow emotions to put me down, only theam that I bet on will make me feel bad because there is nothing to feel. I don't have any fears to distract me from selecting good games, I just think that if you are going to loss your emotions can stop it, only a person that is gambling for the first time will try this kind of thing and be emotional about it.

It can also be the money you are using to bet, if you are using money that is not yours, there is nothing that will stop you from been emotional and such can make a gambler lose focus. I agree that one's emotions can affect the outcome of their bet and it happens in different ways. First, when you want to bet a game and you begin to have a double thought about a particular event in your parley, and you ignore your instincts about that event, and it happens that it was the only game that cut your bet. Admittedly, emotions have become an inseparable part of the life of every person. Nevertheless, despite being subject to our control emotions tend to affect our behaviour, in particular, in gambling.
