As always, they target the greedy, gullible users. Thanks for bringing this up to our attention.
In a case of phishing sites, I don't think people get exposed to them because of greed. It's an ignorance thing. So, gullibility is the problem. We can be sure that a lot of people clicking on that link may not even know about the original site – pump.fun. I wouldn't even have known of pump.fun if not that a group I belong to talked about it a few months ago and I did some investments there. Seeing this scam site, even without reading the OP, I knew instantly it would be an imitation of pump.fun. I ain't disappointed.
We've to be careful this period to safeguard our investments. We shouldn't be granting access to sites we haven't done thorough research on to our wallets. It's even a bad idea to do that with main wallets. Get burner/throwaway wallets for such and don't leave funds there except gas fee.
