Someone said “Manchester United is a chat room” Having them in your ticket this period is a very big mistake, imagine what just happened today they where just winning with 1 zero against West Ham, while their fan where rejoicing as the game was nearly coming to and end bad luck struck them as the equalizing goal comes in.. lol

Culture decay after Fergie and Gill left. They lost their core values and got cocky and bloated. Players thought they were bigger than the club. I thin kAmorim is turning it around. Better players with a better mindset. But it is going to take a few seasons.

Tbh, it’s a mix of things. Poor squad management, bad recruitment choices, and instability in the manager position have held them back. They’ve got the talent, but there’s no clear, long-term strategy. It’s a mess, really.

Interesting thread bump in the off-topic section. I've wondered this too. From an outside view, it seems like a leadership issue. If the club was a crypto project, people would say the "core devs" (coaches) and "management" (owners) aren't aligned. No consistent playing style, constantly changing strategies. Makes you appreciate when a project has a clear, steady ANN and follows its roadmap. Dyor on the Glazers though, lots of mixed feelings there

imo the biggest problem is not the manager or players alone, it’s the structure above them. United has had too many changes in direction over the years — different managers, different styles, different signings. no long-term football identity. when a club keeps resetting, consistency is almost impossible.

A lot of it comes down to decision making off the pitch united change managers, styles and targets too often, so the squad feels half built for one idea and half for another when things get tough, that lack of long term planning shows up immediately.
