Few days are remaining to enter Christmas and it's time we cheers with our beloved ones and extended family's and gift them what we wishes, would you like to gift some family's Bitcoin or you will sell your bitcoin to buy gift for them? I also wants to know the values of items bitcoin can buy for you in your country within this festival season of Christmas, in my country bitcoin is not generally acceptable in most of the shops because of government restrictions on bitcoin transaction directly to bank, but some shops also accept Bitcoin payment especially when you are buying in a large quantity
In my country this is what Bitcoin can buy for me this Christmas time. Following are

1. CLOTHES
2. PAIRS OF SHOES
3. BAGS OF RICE
4. GROUNDNUT OIL
5. CARTONS OF TOMATOES

Note: in my country not every shops accepts bitcoin payments, it will be difficult before you locate shops that will accept Bitcoin payment, people that accept Bitcoin is few.
I would like to know what you can afford to buy in your country with bitcoin in large quantity or A smaller quantity without conversion of Bitcoin to your country currency.

There are lots of varieties that can be bought this Christmas season with bitcoin online as gift items from the shopping malls, but in my country, it's such a pity that I only have to buy the items you mentioned locally which does not support the use of bitcoin for now, except I still have to exchange any of the items for bitcoin with friends I know are into bitcoin, pay them in bitcoin for the items to be delivered to me, but not on the open market as everyone will have to go and make some shoppings.

You can send funds across to your families and loved ones both home and abroad through bitcoin, and spend your bitcoin, you must not only use it for payments of services like the fiats is used for buying and selling of goods before you would say you have spent your bitcoin in this festive season.
There is no special role bitcoin would plays in festive seasons rather you can only sell your bitcoin by taking profits and then use it for the celebration.

Bitcoin can buy anything for me this Christmas and it can help me to give gift to my love ones. Most of the money I worked for this year are in bitcoin. I prefer to convert my other income to bitcoin also because fiat in my country is not reliable and not a store of value. From clothing to food and gift, I can convert bitcoin to fiat and use it to afford all of them.

I can buy practically anything I want when it comes to Bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies because there is a payment processor that has been integrated into many local online stores. Maybe some will say that it is not a direct payment with Bitcoin, but the customer sends BTC to the address shown to him and that is the only thing that matters. I think the most important thing is that the vast majority simply don't want to spend their coins, even though they have the option to buy something with BTC.

I'll definitely spend some coins for the upcoming holidays, because Bitcoin is the currency in the first place, right?

I don't understand, why do you limit your purchases to Bitcoin? Block confirmation takes 10 minutes or more, and once during an exchange, both the buyer and I waited over 30 minutes. Since then, I haven't used Bitcoin for these purposes. In my country, people usually pay with stablecoins; it's fast and there's no risk of volatility. And even though accepting cryptocurrency payments is illegal, that doesn't stop anyone.

What can bitcoin afford to buy for you this Christmas 🎄 🎄 🎄
For this Christmas, I don't have a special program that requires buying with Bitcoin, I will probably hold Bitcoin for a certain period of time, this Christmas I will probably give Christmas gifts from purchases with fiat currency.

Currently conditions have changed, I see in my area many shops that used to accept Bitcoin payments no longer accept Bitcoin payments, I didn't ask the reason, but I think it's their decision to make.

For this Christmas I will let the flow run its course, there is no program of shedding Bitcoin for Christmas gifts.

Do Bitcoin transaction actually takes 30 minutes to get approved? Even if this is true it is not always every time, there are times where I have to wait for 1 minute or 2, I believe it depends on how busy the network is at times.

Is there a solution for this? Yes 🖐️, all you have to do is increase the transaction fee for faster approval.

Depends on the transaction in question, that's true Smiley

Anything, as long as I pay higher than the items I want to buy, I'm sure most of sellers will accept Bitcoin. Imagine you sell a car for $100,000 and after 2 months, no one buy it because it's too pricey for them. Then out of nowhere, a mysterious guy want to buy that car and he willing to pay $200,000 worth in Bitcoin, even you didn't even accept Bitcoin in the first place, the money offered by him would change your mind.

It's all about how much extra you want to pay, money solves problem.

in my country bitcoin is not generally acceptable in most of the shops because of government restrictions on bitcoin transaction directly to bank, but some shops also accept Bitcoin payment especially when you are buying in a large quantity
What does this mean, Bitcoin is illegal as a legal tender in your country? you're just risking yourself.

It is nice you have put up this information, I know this place, and I will definitely pay a visit this festive season to see if I can get some items which I will need ahead of time.

As for OP, Bitcoin can buy you anything you want as long as there is a seller or a vendor who accepts it for trading and other services. The government has no law against trading of bitcoin amongst individuals in my country, but only prohibits the Apex bank from transacting in it for the time being. So everyone is free to use and trade bitcoin as they like.

This season is a time when many expenses occur because of the festive season, and if you want to spend bitcoin to purchase something, you may end up spending a large amount of bitcoin. I don’t think that even if I see where I can use bitcoin to purchase things, I will do so; this is a very important time to hodl bitcoin or even to accumulate it. I will spend and purchase in fiat; I will only spend bitcoin if it is an emergency and where bitcoin needs to be spent.

Why will you sell your bitcoins just to celebrate the yuletide season. Don't you have money in fiats that you have budgeted to spend during the Christmas? As far as i know, the market has not recovered yet which means that anyone who is selling their bitcoins will be at the losing side except those that bought when the price was below $80k and those who have been hodling for years. Bitcoin is too valuable to be sold just to use the money and celebrate a festive season, learn to keep some money in fiats while still investing in bitcoin.

Even if there are businesses that accepts bitcoins as a means of payment, will you spend your bitcoins just because of the Christmas celebrations?

Yes, there are very few days left in this day and many people will celebrate on this day and many people will express their happiness by giving gifts to each other on this day, but I think that giving Bitcoin will only be for those who have many Bitcoins and besides, it works with Bitcoin. Although buying something with Bitcoin may be seen to some extent because giving someone a whole Bitcoin will be easier for a person who has bought Bitcoin 10 years ago and anyway, I think no one will give such a large amount as a gift. If it is possible, then it will only be beneficial for those who want us to buy something with Bitcoin. If the things you have mentioned are done to please them in some way, then there will also be some kind of limit to it.

What do you mean what can Bitcoin buy for me in my area and this is what Bitcoin can buy for you in your area. Bitcoin has a monetary value so you have to say what amount of Bitcoin you mean.
For example $100 worth of Bitcoin can buy you so and so or can't be able to afford you such and such. Please the quality of post should it drop because we are in a festive season try and be more constructive than emotional.

Not many stores accept Bitcoin in my country because of the attitude of our government, people are not bold to openly accept Bitcoin as a means of payment for goods and services. However, there are still a lot of things that can be purchased via Bitcoin in my country, although groceries are mostly not in that list. I don't plan to gift anyone Bitcoin this Christmas because most of my Bitcoin are for holding. I can tell some close friends and family about Bitcoin when we travel for the holiday, but I'm also being careful so I don't put myself at risk for being a Bitcoin user.

I won't sell my holding as of now just to buy them a gift. I'll choose to give them few satoshis rather than to spend it and buy them a gift using it.

If I'll buy them a gift, I'll use my savings in cash and that's why I don't want to spend it in bitcoin or sell it because I'm trying my best to accumulate it.

That's part of my discipline and the reason why I'm doing it hardly because I'm thinking of the greater future if I hold enough bitcoin so I can buy them more gifts.
