Have you heard of saga games? It's supposedly a story-driven slots or narrative slot. Traditional slot game is that we spin, we get the result and then reset. While in this sga games, there is a plot or at least continuity. It could be a game that you could stop for now and then later continuity to play and unlock several big multiplier or wins for you. So it will not be as boring as the traditional one.

I have never encountered it, so I don’t know exactly how it will feel when played, but certainly if it is enjoyable, it could even be more enjoyable compared to the current slots, then it will become a favorite. However, often new features introduced to improve or make a long-standing game more interesting do not turn out to be very impressive, so players tend to go back to the familiar ones because they are easier to understand.

I have personally never encounter such type of game where you could stop at a certain time and be back exactly where you left though for me that would be a massive innovation in slot gaming. I have been playing slots since 2005 and I can tell the mechanics are the same, only graphics plus the type of bonus games have evolved and changed for the better. For example back in the days most bonus games was only with free spins and during those free spins something improved, usually low x2 to x5 multipliers whether right now slots offer normally up to x1000 multiplier. Now if some provider can do this to innovate in a new massive way it would be a huge success.

I have seen and bet on some of this. I forgot the name of it, but the theme is a knight walking, defeating monsters, and getting bonuses from it or not.

I didn't like it at all because it requires a certain amount of money before you can reach something that can give you more. It's almost like an invested game, and for gamblers who like just trying their luck in 10 to 20 rolls, this is not for them. Also, it's kind of boring, or maybe I just experienced a bad game, like the one mentioned.

I read it is a skill based game and it has app but I have not experienced the game before where you can continue after a while. What I know is games you can pause by yourself and come back to it when want.

I like to try new things and this is surely going to be thrilling to play.

Curious about what you call a slot saga & immediately try the demo of the Reactoonz game. The system in the game isn't the same as traditional slot games, but when I try to remember when I played a similar game, I remember Gems Bonanza from Pragmatic Play. I think, games like this are better if we compare them with traditional ones, providing new colors & experiences for players.

I play RPG games and a slot game with a story line certainly sounds tempting but I don't see myself playing them if I see one in one of my favorite casinos. I kinda like how the traditional slot games are setup; easy, and quick to play, with very little lore to it. Sure, some have designs that emphasize a bit of background theme to them but that is all there is to them. I like how casual and repeatitive these common slot games.

I'm curious though, in these saga slots you've mentioned, do you need to progress deep within the story to find big multipliers? Or the chances are the same as a common slot game even in the early parts of the story?

There’s some game on Play’n Go slot games that have a continuity style that let you unlock more features if you keep betting and hitting required tiles.

I forgot the name of the slot but I’m certain that it’s on Play’n Go game. I believe that’s what you called a progressive slot game but it’s not that popular anymore since maximum multiplier of slot games are already high which means they already cut the chase on giving the chance to hit the highest multiplier as possible.

I play a lot this specific game when Play’n Go is still accessible in my country. They have a lot of games with same mechanics like this and my all time favorite is Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness due to different type of special power on each unlock level.

This games are enjoyable but it consume a lot of time per spin while you can win only small multiplier even if you experience a lot of connected wins since the multiplier is progressing while your initial win are on base multiplier.

I still preferred the current slot games since I have limited gambling time.

I have never heard this about so probably it is worth trying. But I don't think it is my type because I am very clear with my gambling and I don't want the continuity exists with the game that I play which induce the addiction habit so stuck with traditional spin and then reset is good for me and also it is more entertaining.

Yes, I do forgot to mentioned about the Vikings go Berzerk games too. There is a character progression as mentioned and un-lockable mode in the game. So you  sea monsters, fill up character “berserk” meters, and unlock more powerful states as you move on the games.

And to continue it all, Vikings Go To Hell is the next progression. Same character but this time, you have to fight different enemies before you can move on the next. We can call it  narrative-driven slot series.

Actually not yet. But the way you explained it, it feels like it's an interesting approach on slot games. Normally we just spin and spin and waiting for us to get some wins or profits. But this one has narrative or story, I think that would be appealing to some users whose looking for some unique approach. Unlocking big prizes right? As long as you continue then that's a continuous spin. Id sya it's good as long as they are not greedy on their system. Many gamblers will be hook with that.

Op, I'm only just finding out about those 'saga slot games' you're talking about. Do you have a link for what you're mentioning? Though, all I know about 'saga' is from the 90s era, where those games included titles like Street Fighter and Golden Axe. And then in this current time, there are RPG games, Defense games, and Clash of Clans were I played this most of the time.

But when it comes to crypto casinos, like in slot games, there are Gates of Olympus, Sugar, Moon Princess, and Mines. Meanwhile, for other types of games, there's sports betting, and others like Blackjack and dice games. Now, that Rectoonz game sounds familiar to me, but I don't think I've ever tried playing it.

I prefer games that are varied, not monotonous like slots that only have 5 reels with simple paylines. The new generation of slots takes gameplay to a much more engaging level, making it enjoyable to play even if it is more addictive.
