I have a friend who started gambling online, and he's been into it for several years, and it's the only platform of gambling he has played all his gambling time.

One of our friends invited him to join him on a casino tour in a country where physical casinos are legal but online casinos are restricted.

He declines when he learns he cannot play online because of the restriction, and he doesn't want to play in physical casinos because he thinks he will have a hard time adjusting and finds them boring.

after playing at online casinos, someone who gambles at a real casino will probably enjoy it immensely, even if they didn't want to at first. you can think of it like watching a movie on your tv versus watching the filming live on set. real casinos don't have the flashy sounds or visual techniques used to keep you glued to the screen like online casinos do, but you experience the gambling experience at its highest level there. i see no reason why someone who calls themselves a gambler wouldn't love real-life casinos. if i had the chance, i would definitely go to one.

If he is gambling just on an online casino before, it will not be easy at all to use physical casino if he wants privacy, he may not want it at all.

But if he wish to try physical casino, once he gets to the physical casino, he may like it but that still depend on how the casinos is. If it is a well furnished casino with airconditioner and experienced workers, he will like it.

I have no problem on playing in the physical casino especially if I’m with my friends that enjoying gambling together because that is much better compared to playing online alone when it comes to entertainment based on my own preferences.

But we can’t blame others for choosing online casino instead of physical casino if they prefer it that way. It’s very hard to gamble on games that you are not comfortable because it’s like forcing yourself to have an entertainment as if you don’t have a choice.

Physical casinos can be hard for people who are not very social, so that might be the reason why he doesn't want to continue his gambling but offline and he declined when he knew that he couldn't continue.While there are others who can enjoy both the physical and online casinos and there can be others as well who only enjoy when they do it on a physical casnio.

Sure, happy with the invitation, because I have never played at an offline casino due to regulations that prohibit it. That experience only happens like going on a vacation, not continuously. I think I can still play online when I return. 
I believe that experience can certainly be a consideration for us to compare the sensations or different atmospheres of gambling. But for those who have difficulty adapting to new environments, it might not be comfortable.

Why not? It's a tour vacation, and something will enrich my gambling experience. I don't think I will have any trouble adjusting. A gambler can easily adapt to playing in physical casinos, which is quite addictive because of the ambiance, like the sound, the free drinks, and the many people around. If you're an extrovert, you will enjoy it.
And if you're back on vacation, you might look around for a physical casino. I guess it's a matter of individual preference, but I don't see any issue with the transaction.

Actually, it’s the opposite. Physical casino has the better sounds when it comes to slot games and their slot machine have different buttons and features which you can enjoy more slot games than online slot games.

The only thing I hate about physical casino slot games is the low RTP, high minimum bet and the maximum multiplier is way lower than the slot games here in online.

Online gambling is like replicating the physical features of gaming into an electronic device. I don't think it would be difficult for an online gambler to understand the process in physical casinos. Casino tour could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, he shouldn't miss it because of this excuse. He should have started reading and learning about physical casinos before the date of departure.  He could practice using small amounts and increase his bets as he gets used to the processes in physical casinos.

In this modern era, these Gen Z kids experience online casino first and then may switching to physical casino or sticking with online casinos for years to decade. In my opinion, these two category of gambling are totally different in terms of entertaining us. Still, it is subjective and up to individual's appetite whether they can switch or sticking where they have been used to. I first gambled on physical casino but when I first gambled online, I did not feel anything differently but felt like visiting a new type of casino. Not sure that same kind of feeling I might have got if I switched to physical from online casino.

Real experiences are totally different than what we do with online casinos. So, I encourage gamblers to test physical casino when they never gambled there. Online casinos are just simulations hence experience the original may give you different excitement. But, online or physical casino, never frequent.

I can't find any reason why your friend declined. Playing in physical casinos specially on slots is more exciting than playing online IMO. There's more effects to slot games on physical casinos than online casinos + you get to bond with your friends or meet new friends in the casino. I would find it hard to all of a sudden start gambling at a physical casino just as you friend is experiencing and it's for a simple reason that, I may be a big novice in the casino and may find it very boring having to cheer instead enjoy the thrill of gambling for myself.
Also, it may be harder because going to large crowded places where they have these physical casinos is not really a thing I fantasize about because I don't enjoy being in a very crowded place and may get drained faster than I should have.
I would lastly consider it a waste of funds because it may be harder to get bonuses or rewards like I do get online and even with cash out options too.

It all depends on your personality. I fir one don't like crowded and noisy places... especially places that are prone to violence. So switching to a physical casino will be very difficult for me and the fact that there are basically so few (if any at all) physical casinos in my locality. So it isn't something that will so be easy to do.

They are two completely different experiences, if you play online slot machines and you play physical ones the experience is totally different, this applies to all games.
The scenic presence of people, the sociability, the living of people and sharing happy moments of carefree with them makes the gaming experience completely different.

Online casinos are much more convenient for me. One can gamble anytime at the comfort of their home or office, if you are not caught, lol. Physical casinos are less convenient, you got to dress up, look good. Then pay for your transportation to the location and all, all of these make online the best choice for me.

However, i do not mind playing in a physical casino if the opportunity does present itself. I can understand why that person turned down the offer of the tour. But if it was me, i am surely going on that tour.

It's nice to play in physical casinos from time to time if you're are purely playing in online gambling but personally I would rather stay at home chilling and being comfortable while watching movies, or listening to music while browsing the web. But if it's only once a week or once a month it's not that bad to go out with your friends and play on physical casino.

I just got curious, does anyone here have a data which one has the highest number of players, is it still the physical casino or the online gambling now?
