Trump has more-or-less drifted away from NATO. Retired Col. Douglas Macgregor says Trump should have taken the NATO-bull by the horns and stopped them, long ago. But it seems that the European NATO partners (backed by the US DoD) wants to keep pushing Eastward toward Russia, the exact thing that Russia is against.

Note that even though China is supplying Russia with a lot of electronics, Russia is supplying China with Russian war experiences in Ukraine. As Russia and China supply each other, they unite in ways that make them a force against which European NATO cannot stand.

Seems that the US recognizes this Russia/China alliance danger, and is working to unite with both countries in trade agreements with the US that leave European NATO out.

It in the "keynote speech" he chastized those alliance partners who don't feel the urgency of the 'Russian threat' to Europe.  "We are Russia's next target. I fear that too many are quietly complacent," he said. "Too many don't feel the urgency. And too many believe that time is on our side. It is not. The time for action is now."

"Conflict is at our door. Russia has brought war back to Europe. And we must be prepared," he added while warning of the next world war.

He further asserted that Russia could be ready to use military force against NATO within five years, at a moment the Ukraine war shows no signs of stopping. Rutte argued that more than just higher spending thresholds should be implemented, and he urged that alliance members must shift to a "wartime mindset".

"This is not the time for self-congratulation," Rutte continued. "I fear that too many are quietly complacent. Too many don't feel the urgency. And too many believe that time is on our side. It is not. The time for action is now."

"Putin is paying for his pride with the blood of his own people," Rutte elsewhere stated. "And if he is prepared to sacrifice ordinary Russians in this way, what is he prepared to do to us?"

Of course, none of this acknowledged what from Moscow's point of view are the root causes of the war, especially the issue of constant NATO expansion.

Rutte is also hyping a coming 'world war' even while European leaders by and large have rejected the Trump-proposed peace plan, given they find the prospect of territorial concessions in Donbas and Crimea to be intolerable. It seems the hawks are still in control of Europe.

Another interesting moment was the NATO chief placing a lot of blame on China. He alleged that Moscow would not be able to execute the war without help from Beijing.

"China is Russia's lifeline," he alleged. "Without China's support, Russia could not continue to wage this war. About 80 percent of critical electronic components in Russian drones and other systems are made in China. So, when civilians die in Kyiv or Kharkiv, Chinese technology is often inside the weapons that kill them."

The first point is that few people really want a world war. So, the others fight against it's happening.

The second point is, the warmongers are psychopaths. They desperately want something, and they want to be in control of it. That's why they get into government... just to have control.

Be happy that world war has been averted for as long as this. And it may be averted again, by those who have good sens and ability to keep the warmonger psychopaths from doing it. But by the looks of it, world war is getting closer.

Actually, I would say we have been quite fortunate to have been born in an era where so many global powers are afraid of nuclear war, which would result in mutual destruction of all belligerents. Hopefully, Russia and NaTO won't have to confront directly one another and there will be no a wide war in Europe.

Like all these constant warnings about world war that can ignite at any given time, it has become a song on repeat mode, I mean since Donald Trump assumed office, it has been one geopolitical tension after another, everyone just wants to flex their military muscle. You seem to want to ignore that the financiers of the Bolshevik Revolution were US and Eastern European. Do you really think that they were being philanthropic in their financing? No. They were trying to get their foot in the door for stealing Russian lands and wealth.

The results of the BR were not what the West hoped for. Instead, the results were a new nation (USSR) that was far stronger than Czarist Russia could ever be. And it was against the West.

Down through the years after the BR, the West - and mostly politicians in the US government  - talked big, bold words about how they were going to break Russia up, and then steal the lands of Russia from its people. It never really happened, mostly because the world is bigger than people understand it to be.

Then, in 1991, Russia shut down the USSR. The agreement was that the West (especially NATO) would not press Eastward. The West's agreement with Russia didn't stop the West and NATO from pressing Eastward.

The Ukraine war came about for several reasons. Among them were:
1. NATO getting ready to accept Ukraine into its fold;
2. The Ukraine government starting to get serious about killing off its people in the Black Sea Corridor, many of whom were Russian;
3. It was time for Russia to take back its lands that had been stolen from it... the lands of the BSC and Odessa and Crimea.


The theme behind it all is the banking systems of the West wanting to take over the whole world. They aren't doing it for righteous reasons. They are doing it for ownership power. They have enslaved the people of the West, and now they are working on Russia... then China and India and everybody else. They have to do it now, because there is enough resistance to them in the world, that their Ponzi is failing. Look at how silver and gold are about to crash the debt-fiat US dollar.

Enough is enough says Russia. NATO says the same. NATO wants to steal Russia for the West, so they are getting ready to go to war.

We've been prepared for that and the world war they're talking about isn't the typical war with firearms and explosives but even deadlier than that. It's a slow type of war where they'll hit each other economically to make their people suffer. It's more than a war, biological warfare, economic warfare even with consumer electronics. That's true, war is coming is what we've been hearing for decades now which has also been terrifying but I must say, just the unrealistic news alone has at some points caused geopolitical crisis which had also affected the global economy. Maybe that's where the "AUDIO WAR" is projected to be effective and may not really mean the armed conflicts.
But if I must say, it's not boring because we either not need it. I also don't think the US would fall into the trap of the wars calling because if they do, it may turn against them and they may lost their stance as world power because in the world of technology we're today, it's inevitable to assume who would win the war when it's fully resumed. Lol   you are right about that, for the past few years now I have only been seeing European talking about fighting Russia. No action had been done then. Uk and Germany has been building their military to fight Russia. The idea that the UN is going to start a war over how the United States is brokering peace is hilarious to me. The United States basically funds NATO. Without US Dollars they can’t do anything. If they don’t back the US in a peace deal they will become completely irrelevant in the future.

it is not boring and the way you hear people talking about it is a signal that is will surely come to pass one day even if it is not at this moment.

War unlike the normal conflict is not something that can be easily controlled, resolved or put to stop. It contains a lot of components and events which can make it graduate from conflicts to war and those components take a long time before they manifest.

If you ask for my opinion I will tell you, yes we are most likely to experience another world war and it will be more of a genocidal conflicts and attacks here and there is what can later lead to war especially when they are consistently happening without a clear and unbiased treatment.
