What mode of transportation you prefer? And why?

As every question I ask to others, I answer it myself first.

So,

I use bicycle as mode of transport because it gets the job done and reason being why this works out is having shopping mall for regular needs nearby, and highway as well to access public road transport (which I can use if I need to go where using bicycle won't be feasible).

It comes with minimal maintenance, doesn't require fuel, and if something happens it's inexpensive to fix. Also, I live a rather sedentary lifestyle so gets the body moving as well.

I must mention that in society I come from, it's not common for adults to ride bicycle so I do get this judgemental looks/behavior from others, and when it gets to much, I go to YT and watch dutch cycling culture videos to console myself.

For the exercise purpose that bicycle is good, but for the shake of my bones and to reserve my strength sometimes if our home motorcycle is not available and is in use, I will rather prefer to walk down to where ever I’m going to than ride a bicycle, I’m the type that can start sweating real quick on every little exercise which I consider bicycle riding to be, and moving around with leg can be slow but it’s more effective sometimes in stopping and crossing the road even in time of traffic.

But if we are to talk about means I use to enter another state, in my country where insecurity is turning into something else, I prefer flight it’s expensive but it’s better than paying for kidnapping ransom.

In my town many folks opt to buy bike than a bicycle. Very small size of persons knows the health importance of riding a bicycle to a long distance and back

For short movements bicycle is a top choice no fuel consumption, no emissions of Co4  to the environment etc. As a sedentary individual the bicycle is necessary to help you relax your muscles and prevent it from weakening before good old age dew to long regular seating hours.

Add this to your consolation log. Riding bicycle is part of exercising the legs, the benefits to your health is that you stay cardiovascular fit with good stamina and flexibility when you regularly ride bicycle.

My choice of transportation depends solely on where I'm going and the distance, since you are just going to a nearby shopping mall using a bicycle is understandable. But if I'm going to a far distance I prefer using a car to avoid being burnt by the sun and in some of the cities in my country traffic gets so bad that even a bicycle won't be able to pass through and I can't imagine myself being under the sun or rain in such situation. Honestly I don't really like bicycle because it's stressful for me and if I want to exercise I would do it in the gym and I can also say that I prefer walking than using bicycle as a means of transportation.

Considering our weather over here, plus our roads that are not the best, I still prefer moving around in a vehicle because it can access anywhere. I have a daily habit to exercise so I will not need a bicycle to keep me fit. If I am traveling over a long distance, distance like one state to another, if air travel is available, I will have that as my preferred mode of transportation there, and it is not because I don't like a good old road trip, but because there is a high level of insecurity in our roads at this period, lots of people are getting kidnapped and robbed, so for the reason of safety air travel is it.

I currently drive a diesel 4x4, and for me it’s great. I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. I use it to go to and from work and to handle my daily tasks. My workplace is seven kilometers from my home, and I don’t have the patience to commute by bicycle, for example. For physical exercise, I go to the gym. I think traffic is far too dangerous to be riding a bike around.

I usually use public transportation because it is affordable and the destinations are close to my workplace. It is very convenient for my daily commute. My workplace also provides bicycles and cars for employees, but I always choose to use a bicycle to get around the office area. The workplace is quite large and walking from one office to another can take up to half an hour. That is why bicycles and cars are provided, to make movement easier and more efficient.

I really like using public transportation. In my area, it is cheap, clean and well-organized. Another great advantage is that it helps me avoid traffic jams, which makes my commute more comfortable and stress-free. Overall, public transportation and cycling are the best options for me because they are efficient, economical and environmentally friendly.

I mostly used to walk, and for longer distances i used a bicycle, until i bought my first car. Now i don’t even walk to the nearby store anymore , i go by car   It has become a habit, even though we often buy fuel which, in my country, is quite expensive, up to €1.80 per liter, plus regular servicing and other car related expenses.When you have a car, it’s like having an extra family member,remeber
Anyway, it’s definitely good that you use a bicycle. As you said, it gets you moving, and you shouldn’t care how others look at you or what they say, it’s simple as that.

I used to ride a bicycle to work, but motor riders took over the bike lanes during rush hours, and traffic made it hard to get there, so I now use a motorcycle.
With a motorcycle, I can get into small corners and avoid traffic. Honestly, I don't like the traffic in our country; it's like a maze, and commuting to work is a challenge.
Many workers prefer motorcycles. I experienced going to work on a bus, and it took me 3 hours compared to the motorcycle, where I only spent half an hour. That's how bad the traffic in our country is.

I must say you're a very lucky person. You can cycle comfortably and have public facilities accessible by bicycle. Not many people in your country have the same cycling privileges as you, myself included.

Maybe this is the only thing that makes you uncomfortable cycling where you live. Don't worry about it. Just keep cycling. You've done something good and useful.

My daily transportation is a motorcycle. For work, shopping, visiting, or just an afternoon stroll.
Motorcycles are arguably the primary mode of transportation where I live.

I either drive my car or  some days my bike and those two are mode of transportation for me when it comes to local transportation at city level. I use my car as it's convenient and helps me to purchase goods from shops and grocery stores and take those to home with me in car is much easier. The bicycle is the ultimate humble beast. Gets you there, keeps you fit, costs pennies, and runs on fat not fiat. You're not paying the gas tax, the insurance cartel, or the auto loan scam. That's freedom.

Let 'em stare. They're stuck in a metal box paying $500 a month to sit in traffic and look "normal." You're out here getting gains and stacking sats with the money you're not burning.

I mostly walk or take the train (when I have to). Same philosophy. Keep expenses low, body moving, and dependence on the system minimal. More money and energy for the things that actually matter.

Well for me my mode of transportation right now is motorcycle (motorbike) it really help me a lot considering the economic system of my country right now. My dad own a car that we use at home but the Petrol consumption is high and Petrol is expensive now in my country so it is less expensive to use bike. The Petrol I will use for the car for 1 day will serve me a week in motorcycle, that's why I use the motorcycle since I just use it around the neighborhood. But for a long distance, I travel by bus or car.

Well it depends on where I are going! 

Normally I have no choice but to take a public bus in order to reach my destination. It's total 2 hour of commute each day from my home to the city. Tbh, I wish I had other choices, but it's a must thing. I can take small transportation though, but it's expensive and time consuming.

For shorter distance, I prefer bicycle. As for bike I can't ride one. I don't have a licence.

You know, where I live it's a place of big big Launches and whenever I'm travelling to the capital I take this route instead of buses. Comfort over time.

You might be wondering where did planes and  trains went, Lol. We don't have trains here yet, it's a river sided region, and as for planes, man it's expensive.

I prefer a machine (car) as my mode of transportation. It's convenient, fast, and provides protection from the weather. Plus, it gives me the freedom to travel longer distances without getting tired. While exercise is important, I'd rather get that from the gym rather than from commuting.

I mostly use public transport and walking, car prices fuel and maintenance just don’t make sense to me anymore, buses and metro are not perfect but they are predictable and cheap enough, walking fills the gaps and clears my head, people love to flex cars but I prefer not stressing over repairs and parking.

The bicycle...is the healthiest form of transportation, but that also depends on where the individual is going and the distance involved. Personally, though, I prefer the bicycle

I prefer cycling for short distances - it's healthy, environmentally friendly, and often faster than driving in traffic. For longer trips, trains are my go-to.
