Do you think people with hard luck quit gambling?

To me in this aspect I prefer them to stop gambling,is just like me ,I don't know what is really happening,but I think is time I should stop gambling totally because I make winning but just small amount,I win small amounts anytime I stake small amounts but when I put big amount it must cut ,I can't win it in this condition I don't know what is happening so I have subjected that gambling doesn't favour me anymore so what I do is to quit gambling for now to watch how tomorrow is for now ,I have quite,I understand you perfectly to those who has been lossing but think they are gambling is high time for them to quit gambling and see how tomorrow is , before they can continue

You made the right approach anyways.Most individuals are not profiting from gambling on the long run and their perspective towards it is;making profit from it.Once this perspective is the primary reason why an individual is into gambling and their luck isn’t in their favour they might feel discouraged and quit gambling entirely while most people would keep chasing their losses till they succeed to hit a jackpot but gambling isn’t certain that after so many trials you would win.Everyone has their own reason why they are no longer gambling as they were active in the industry.

Some will even tell you that even if they are not winning, don't wouldn't mind as long as they will keep on with gambling, because this has been part of them always and they cant afford not to play and have fun even those that gamble for money, they cant also resist gambling all because they never had the winning opportunities, because they believe that one day, they could made it to win as always expected. 

Many people no longer see gambling as just a game, it becomes a part of their life. Whether they win or lose does not matter much to them, as long as they can keep playing. They get used to the excitement and temporary pleasure that gambling brings. Some believe that if not today then tomorrow their luck will surely change and one day the win will come. This hope keeps them stuck. Slowly they do not even realize when the habit starts controlling them. In the end gambling takes away not only money but also time peace of mind and self confidence. To me the real strength is not winning but being able to stop at the right time.

If gamblers understood or if it was possible to know in some way that they have no luck in gambling, then they would never gamble again, but there is no way to know that a gambler will still return to gambling even if he loses repeatedly. Because he thinks that luck may come back to him. Again, there are some gamblers who try to enjoy their pleasure through betting, for them losing a small amount of money is nothing. I think that is what it should be like as a gambler. If gambling is done under one's control without expecting anything through gambling, then gambling is not a problem.

You shouldn't depend on gambling to stay alive so if it's not giving you satisfaction anymore you have every right to take a break or stop, you can always come back when you have taken enough timeout. I believe that gambling is not for everybody, if you are always losing it is good to take a break to evaluate yourself and you can do this better if are no longer gambling at the moment. It is not easy to stop gambling when you are addicted to it but that is where you need to apply discipline inorder to take your needed break. It's quite easy for me to take breaks from gambling because I've trained myself to gamble responsibly.

Of course gambling is not for everyone, those who actually gamble for fun and who have a discretionary money, and who will not face any financial problems as a result of losing money. Gamblers can act independently and are not likely to come under any mental pressure, so the risk of losing extra money is reduced by gambling with that money. Losing or winning is part of the game, but it is better to be upset rather than frustrated when the amount of loss increases, as this gives you self-control over yourself, thus reducing the chances of becoming addicted to gambling.

I think that those who try gambling and lose right away are unlikely to return to it, unless they have positive examples in their surroundings. Otherwise, people usually don’t want to repeat something where they had no positive experience. Everyone is free to quit but that won't be permanently. Because anyone who tries to quit and then goes back tomorrow, that isn't even quitting at all.

That's what they do when they want to take a rest and it's normal to do that. As for quitting when there's no luck, you quit the day and that's only for that particular day.

While you've said that going back tomorrow and see what will happen is the usual thing when you're very unlucky today.

Everyone is free to quit but that won't be permanently. Because anyone who tries to quit and then goes back tomorrow, that isn't even quitting at all.

If they stop today, but they come back tomorrow, then that's called a break. Sometimes a break is required when a gambler is not having any luck, even if they force their will, then I think they will only suffer more losses that day. But I know what you mean, it's hard to predict gamblers, they might say quit in front of their friends but they actually gamble secretly when alone.

I actually got so many real world examples where some of my colleagues who promised to stop gambling ended up breaking it themselves. Apart from economic conditions, several other factors could also be the reason why they return to gambling. Personally, the desire to gamble will grow again when they are still in the same circle of friends.
