I know some people here are using free electricity to mine cryto, or electricity that is so cheap it's practically free. Tell me how do you make it?

You want to use ASICs to mine for free which is very bad, you have to pay for the electricity that you are using to mine bitcoin. Or do you want to be like the lastest one that we read that someone is using school electricity to mine for free. The person was reported and arrested few weeks ago. You want to make money from mining, that is enough to let you know that you have to pay for electricity. Even household electricity, people pay for it.

What you need are business cases where electrical heating is paid.
For example you might provide water damage drying solutions, where you provide heat and charge electricity bill. but even than you are far below 100% utilization so the risk of initial costs for bitcoin mining equipment is yours...

Solar or wind power maybe? There is no such thing as free electricity though, you either pay on one go or pay every month for electricity bill, if anyone is mining for free and you can't see any panels or turbine then they are mining illegally, do not join them for their days will be outnumbered.

You either stealing electricity or you have panels over your roof or someone somewhere is paying your electricity bill, rule out the idea of free electricity, they don't exists.

In Iran it seems to be where electricity is almost free; if you can live there, then that is a good place to get electricity for almost free.

Or generate power yourself instead as suggested above; either go wind power or solar, but take note if you have a large number of mining units that pull more than 50 kilowatts, building a solar with these power-hungry units is too expensive. Even a single latest ASIC unit will still cost you much to build a solar panel to run this unit 24/7.

Trust me, even if there was somewhere with free electricity, someone would limit its reach, and then sell you the power at a profit .

There are electricity that's cheaper usually in less developed countries. However, that comes with its own set of problems and logistical issues usually. So, unless you are someone who owns a large company and wants to have a mining operation overseas, and a butt load of money to invest its probably out of reach for you.

Mining requires alot of electricity on a steadily basis this is why we have seen cases of electricity thefts just to mind bitcoin, recently I read about an old employee that hard a wired computer in an old abounded garage, he use the company electricity to mine bitcoin for a long time before he was eventually caught when there was some work on the basement.

There is no bypass to electricity for mining you have to either pay for it or generate your own electricity via solar and other clean energy sources.
