I don't really want to follow these people anymore, they do everything they say for their own gain, they are systemically dishonest.

Just because you think that it may do well, doesn't mean that we have to see that working, it could be great or it could be terrible but in any case we should be careful about it.

We are at a stage where things aren't really that easy to handle, so we need to be careful about it. I know that this is going to take a while for price to go up, so what we can do instead is wait for it to bottom. Something lower than 50k is very possible for the next year and if that does happen, buying at anything under 50k would guarantee at least 4x return for you, maybe as much as 5x return as well when the next bull run comes. If you deny this and think that it won't happen again, then you are not going to end up with a great result.

All what people are saying in regards to bitcoin performance in the future especially in its price are merely speculations which have a 50-50 chance of coming to materialize or failed to materialize. For sure, bitcoin will continue to increase even though it goes down at a particular point in time and for this, a big uptrend is definitely happening in the future.

The tweet alone carries all the information that is needed to be understood by a smart person and not some dumb newbies. If CZ said there's a super cycle coming, there's no assurance for that and the first  thing he said was that he could be wrong about his analysis which means that no body should be dumb to believe what he said but anyone that wants to agree with him should do a research on your own and if their research aligned with his own analysis, then they can believe what he said.

There's nothing bad to high our expectations about an incoming super cycle but if it's this kind of tweets that's going to cause such expectation, then the newbies that believes it, will have will from any experience they get out of it.

When tweets like this comes up, doing research should be the first thing that comes to the mind.

You spoke too well.  OP also seems to had contradicted the discussion by twisting the tweet of the CZ about the super cycle.
And of course, he is right. There may or not[/b] come the event as predicted to come within the market season that many of us don't believe there would be such a rebound momentum that usually results to multiplication price of pasts ATHs.
If I have such options in bets specifically prediction markets, I will always win because you are hedging on the possibility which whatever outcome will be a goal of your profit.

This is just speculations and with how the market is fluctuating within the range of $100K recovery and with lot going on in the market with the more institutions are still buying, it should be a point to hold and give the super event a doubt to come.

Anyways, he said he could be wrong so i don't know why we are even taking the tweet seriously because he is wrong already. You can't just predict a possible super cycle without backing your statement with facts that can convince people. The market has been dwindling for some time now and despite that we have started noticing a bit recovery, but it should not be mistaken to an extension of the bull market. No signs of a super cycle yet except maybe we see the price of bitcoin cross ATH again.

The possibility of a super cycle in the current Bitcoin price in 2026 is very low. Because you should not make yourself happy just by seeing such comments on the posts of a few people, because if you look at the past, you will definitely see cycles in the price of Bitcoin and it has been increasing according to the cycle. It's understandable that he said this as he's considered an influential public figure. It's strange that people blindly believe his tweets without further analysis. It's impossible for a single tweet to trigger a supercycle and what indicators are used so we have to believe this tweet. There's no need to have higher expectations and it's much better to start based on research so that whatever happens won't affect us. Perhaps the market is recovering slightly from the correction, but this doesn't necessarily indicate an extension of the bull market before we see the price movement reach its all-time high again. I still consider the process at the beginning of the year as a consolidation step, especially regarding Bitcoin's progress this year.

He is a popular figure in crypto space and this makes it even more dangerous, they have the keys to massive manipulations and they have proven to outsmart retailers in the past, have a mind of your own and make decisions for yourself, these people have their own plans as well, make sure you have yours too.

When Bitcoin reached new ATH even before the Bitcoin halving even starts, that's the first time it ever happened, and nobody expected it to happen. There might be a few that are saying it, but in general, nobody's expecting it to happen. It's the same with this one.

Supercycle? Might be, but what are the chances? After all, we haven't see a Bitcoin supercycle happening before. CZ's just predicting that a supercycle might happen just by looking at his tweet, but since he's a popular influencer, many took it as something that will happen already which is very wrong. He can say it just like many of us here, but he can also be wrong just like his past predictions. Well, if it happens then good for those who are holding Bitcoin still. If not then can we blame him because of his prediction? No, so take what CZ and other influencers are saying like grain of salt. Even if you're a follower of him or not, don't make decisions based on their predictions or worse, their tweets whatsoever because it's their own opinion, and it might happen or not.

Also take note that being popular doesn't mean that what their saying will happen.

So I was on my own doing my daily chores and a friend whom have already accepted that no super cycle is coming sent me this image on my WhatsApp.



I am very sure that many people have seen this image on twitter from CZ, stating that a super cycle is very likely to come, but here is my take on this.

If you think that a super cycle will happen because of this single tweet you will be very disappointed.

I think the first step of discussing a "Super Cycle" should be defining of what that means.

Most people hearing this term have a mental image of some huge rising curve, or a period of prolonged or indefinite sharp price rise, but the original meaning is closer to Bitcoin just acting more like stocks or gold, moving away from 4-year halving price action patterns.

So if we are to experience a super-cycle, this means we won't have the typical sharp price drops of 70%-80%, and the price will stabilise with a long-term uptrend, but some modest ups and downs on the way.

My gut feeling is that this cycle is the last one of that kind, but I still expect a post-bull market drop. Maybe not as severe as 80%, but probably 40-50%, and then a slower and steadier climb up, assuming the interest in Bitcoin doesn't die out.

You have a brilliant mind and advice there, OP. CZ and all other crypto celebrities, are human beings like us who would only guess their predictions this time rather than believing they are some kind of superbeings. Many of them have had the opportunities to win some speculations overtime due to one reason or another, especially the cycle/tradition of Bitcoin that's very easy to predict. But things are changing, and are becoming more difficult to predict now.

Bitcoin could go either way. Notwithstanding, since there are so many presence of institutional interests now, even if Bitcoin sells, the impact will not be much before it flips back to the north.

It was just really that I heard about the super circle and from the way it was explained, it is not certain that it may happen, but just that it may likely happen because of the way Bitcoin price movement has been. It’s like it’s not going the way it was expected to go.What I just know is that Bitcoin is always unpredictable and that is the reason why it is always advisable to invest what we can afford to lose. That is the only way someone will not always be worried about Bitcoin price movement.

I know that some set of people may have invested more than what they can afford to lose just because of the super circle they are expecting, and if it does not later happen as planned, they start regretting it. So it is always better to lower our expectations so that we will not take wrong decisions about our Bitcoin investment

I saw an interview recently where CZ states he isnt the greatest trader but then he doesn't need to be, get the big picture right and your'll be fine anyhow.   He has his reasons but it doesn't necessarily reflect the wider market and conditions outside of BTC which tend to matter.  

BTC is flirting back and forth across the 50 day moving average which itself is going sideways, its pretty much the definition of undetermined price action.   Guessing direction is more a case of smoke your pipe and sit back and see while more information is added because its not especially clear.  I dont believe any clear trend is under way but we can say the negative trend of late last year settled and ended.  Thats not bullish just more neutral which is fair also boring.

He's not a trader but he's a businessman. He held a lot of Bitcoin and that's one of the advantage that he's got and aside from that, he's also holding a bunch of BNB for obvious reasons. I think that if his opinion is being taken by everyone seriously, that's because of the success that he's got. And there is nothing wrong with that. But, we shouldn't be like cult members believing every word he say. While a supercycle might come but it's no longer for this year as what most of us believe. He is still the head of the biggest crypto exchanges so yes, he is a businessman. And one way to promote himself is to tweet some controversy like this. Maybe not just BNB, maybe even a lot of Ethereum too then Bitcoin.

So everyone is entitled to his opinion here like CZ, but it doesn't mean that they are right or didn't have any vested interest on their tweet. As for supercycle, we will see what happens next. If he is proven right, then good for him. Of course, we should not give big expectations in a market that is very volatile and unstable like Bitcoin.
