Every day I hear news about sexual abuse on children and it is becoming common this days and people really don’t talk much about it.
I really don’t understand why an adult will choose to abuse a child sexually, is it that the adult has a mental disorder or they are enjoy having sex with children, there was a video I saw online that made me decide to create this thread in that video a grown up woman was making out with a boy of 11 years old and I was asking my self is it that she don’t have grown up men around her that can have sex with her or she don’t have money to purchase sex toy or is she mentally unstable. I also see videos of men doing same thing to little female kids.

-Poor Impulse control: Not being able to control your urges
-Substance abuse
-Having history of abuse
But to be honest these are just excuses, and not everyone in this category commits abuse, abuse is a choice.

There are other societal causes too like:
- Not teaching children on time to set boundaries.
- Children are blames when they report discomfort or even silenced
- When authorities don't deal decisively with offenders

Generally, sexual abuse on children is very bad, It affects children both physical mentally, emotionally and psychologically. It should be met with severe penalties if the authorities are willing to curb it.

In my country, some people use it for ritual for money.

Good response. Adult sex is a different thing; whether they choose to be bisexual or homosexual, it is a thing of their choice since they are of an age. I dont care about the decision of an adult, none of them were at gunpoint forced to do what they do.

In the case of a child, 7 years, 11 years, whatever seem to be the age as a child, it is an offense to be sexually harassed. I support Charles-Tim, death should be the sentence for such a perso,n but if caught with proof.

A child at that age getting abuse is so wrong and he or she is also going to live  with it because from there they will also develop a low impulse control of sex because the only people they would be attracted to will also be children they are 20 years older than because the experience have giving them a disorder both in sexual urge and in the category of people they would be having it with, actually some part of people normally react to physical lives based on how they made them live from the beginning, that's why this Pedophilic disorder is a realistic problem to this cases because a lot of this act are from different causes.

Same thing I have been asking myself about homosexuality because I could a man become sexualy aroused with his fellow man.
In my country, homosexuality is a prohibited act that his condemn by our  government.. If a person is caught engaging in such acts and if found guilty faces imprisonment. We have had cases of children being raped in the anus by adults men and this children haven't been themselves ever since then. Some people just feel excited doing the wrong and abnormal things. The reasons why some men go after minors are because they feel they can easily convince these minors to get what they want. They see it as very difficult to go after women who are of the same age as them. Some men have inferiority issues, and they consider minors as those they can blend with, but all these are not excuses to give.

Whatever the cause for this act, it doesn't justify it, and it doesn't change it from bad to good. These things have always been there; that is why it is important for parents to know they have a lot of work to do. There are so many evils going on in society, and they will always be there. What kids need is a good education that will guide them not to fall victim.

I don't think it's normal, or that it should be normal. It's a commun ethic between everybody who claim to be civilized not to be agreed with those who abuse others by their naivety or natural weakness. Child abuse is the worst of them by ethics and shouldn't have to be forgiveable.

Sexual abuse can have ulterior consequences on victims that will be noticed in personality behavior and choices in life. Some of them, count in thousands, have personality troubles from all kinds.

Children sexual abuse is existing for centuries with punishment is also always strict because its never been good to avoid things like these which have surely happened due to mental illness or many other factors due to recent social media era things are getting more logics about few crimes but about this always no one comment or talk positive.

In developing countries where law is not strict things are still going on their worst due to political involvement and influence of powerful peoples, but society needs to have strict check about things like these because having children sexual abuse surely going to be having deep impact on society and next generation.

This area you pointed out is very important, even when the child becomes an adult, he will never forget it in a haste, what we are talking about is something that involves emotion, the trauma is always there, it does not go away easily, people that has gone through different types of molestation can attest to this, they culprit being jailed does not solve the emotional torture of the abused as you said, let's be realistic, erasing such memory is not easy, what you noted about the pay back time concludes it that it has not been forgotten, I know what am saying.

Many things could be the cause, but from my childhood experience, if one is not a pedophile another thing that could cause that is ego.
I said this because of my childhood experience. There was this beautiful huge lady that came to serve (NYSC), big guys were coming for her but her ego was so high that she doesn't stop for the men and she didn't agree to anyone's proposals. Reason could be she was a graduate that came to a remote area.
But this girl would invite a kid like me, pet me, feed me and almost want me to do ill things with her. So, that is the reason I concluded that it is pride and ego to meet matured men.
