The sexual abuse of children is a failure of whole humanity. We have failed to protect our children from this violent act that has a lasting impact on their physical, social, and psychological health. The sexually abused children are uable to perform their ademic task in a very productive way. In this digital arena of the world, children are abused through digital tools such as the dark web is a pertinent example. There are many reasons behind this abuse includig: poor and neglect parenting; impulse control failure; limited access to resources ; and many more. There should be strict lgegal peanlities on this immoral as well as illegal act at natioal and interatioal level. Similarly the child labor should also banned by the international authorities. Accrording to one of the report of UNICEF: About 90 million children alive today have experienced sexual violence. This is the alarming situation for the world.

Every day I hear news about sexual abuse on children and it is becoming common this days and people really don’t talk much about it.
I really don’t understand why an adult will choose to abuse a child sexually, is it that the adult has a mental disorder or they are enjoy having sex with children, there was a video I saw online that made me decide to create this thread in that video a grown up woman was making out with a boy of 11 years old and I was asking my self is it that she don’t have grown up men around her that can have sex with her or she don’t have money to purchase sex toy or is she mentally unstable. I also see videos of men doing same thing to little female kids.
What is really the cause of this abuse on children?

I don't think it's normal, or that it should be normal.

It's never normal but the news that we hear about this kind of case becomes normal. These predators need to be charged so badly that they have to be punished to realize what they did is wrong in an absolute level. Social media I think also becomes a playground of these predators because of the contents that are being normalize like dancing at a young age, a seductive dance that shouldn't be allowed by these platforms.

You can't restrict social media from showing children activities because we don't have a commun definition of the concept "seduction". Predators are with different cultures and different mindsets. Some of them are seduced by just see a young girl wearing a nice dress or a noy with beautiful eyes. We can't blame the victim and limit his freedom as a human being just to ignore those ill persons.

I think there is no better solution than applying the maximum penalties to child abusers and not allowing them mitigating circumstances at any stage of the trial.

Is there any part of the world that it isn't a major crime. No country will ever have a soft spot for pedophiles except the one passing the law is actually in the same line of disorder, even families won't cover any member if one of them is pedophile, it's an offense that can't be overlooked, some areas or communities will serve such offender first punishment if caught in the act, before being picked up by the police.

So bad  that people would commit offenses, without double thinking if the reverse was the case, what will be their response to someone doing the same to their children, when it gets to a level of pedophile, there is no crime at extreme such a person won't commit.

And how would you be sure that people who are diagnosed with pedophilia are fully aware of their actions and commits the act intentionally. Not that I’m trying to justify the act or make some flimsy excuses for them, but the truth is you never really get to be sure that these folk are in 100% control of their actions when they’ve already been diagnosed of a mental disorder. No one really knows what goes on their heads before or after th act, but that’s in fact not an excuse for such an act.

I don't know what some people need in all these kind of behavior, that they have to derive pleasure in child abuse, while they were not abused when they were young, some wicked acts just need to be punished and never be left to go scot-free, any perpetrator found in this kind of abuse should face the law, be prosecuted and sentenced, sexual abuse is not what can be tolerated for any reason, we should not be found doing it and also try as much as possible to discourage on this act.

It is clear that those who engage in sex with children can never be people with a healthy brain. They are basically mentally disordered and they find unpleasant pleasure in sex which is completely different from a person with a normal brain.
It is not just in your country but in many countries around the world that sexual abuse of children is increasing, and in my country, especially in the garment industry, such child abuse and sexual abuse is increasing.
However, due to the widespread deterioration of law and order in my country and the lack of proper justice for sexual abusers, child abuse and sexual violence against children are increasing in my country. I would say that the weakness of the government's law enforcement is mainly responsible for child sexual abuse.

  For me, the root cause of sexual abuse on children is poor parental control. Nowadays u see all these Gen Z parents giving their 6 yr old children phone to be pressing.
 A child of basic 4 is already watching movies without parental control. Sometimes these movies contain romantic scenes.
  Another aspect is when Parents are making out without taking the children off sight. Of course we know they are children and they know nothing. But don't forget that the brain tends to get adapted to things their eyes see very often.
  Yet another one is a situation where a child cannot report abuse because first , he/she does not even know when abuse has happened. Some parents don't teach these things to their children on time. That's why.

Truthfully speaking reports of sexual abuse on children have been on the high side in the previous years I seriously have not been able to understand what pleasure this adults get from sexually abusing a child especially the very underage ones. There are many reasons why adults sexually abuse minors, perhaps because they are mentally ill, or they do not have the money to pay women for sexual intercourse and so target minors who are easy to lure --- cases like this have been many in various countries.

Anytime I hear a sickening story about pedophiles I wonder if these people are normal human beings like the rest of us because it beats me how a grown adult will have sexual feelings for minors that are not fully developed to attract somebody sexually to them. I don't think that a sane person could try to have sexual intercourse with a child, it's either that they have mental issues or they are controlled by evil spirits as people in my community would say. The craziest that I have seen was a man that was caught molesting a few months old baby, many people were in shock because it is only a derenged person that can do such a thing. We must protect our young ones from these evil people by giving them some level of sex education according to their ages so if someone is making inappropriate moves in them they will resist and raise alarm.

Some people just feel excited doing the wrong and abnormal things. The reasons why some men go after minors are because they feel they can easily convince these minors to get what they want. They see it as very difficult to go after women who are of the same age as them. Some men have inferiority issues, and they consider minors as those they can blend with, but all these are not excuses to give.

The major reason I see that they go for those stupid acts is that there is little consequence for their actions. If the government imposes and enforces strict penalty on it like life imprisonment or even instant death sentence, you'll see even those addicted to it would restrict themselves to a very high level so they don't get convicted.

Secondly, parents are not encouraging their children to speak up because if the children trusts their parents, they would relate any of those matters to them immediately it happens and further abuses would be prevented and these children protected from these abusers.
I can literally go crazy thinking of how grown up adults would be satisfying themselves having sex with little children that cannot even give them good sex, not even engaging an adolescent of 15 years+ at least.

Funny enough adolescents also abuse little children, if you dig into the details, you would see that such adolescent has a history of abuse as a child too, so the cycle continues.

What is really the cause of this abuse on children?

There is no justification for such act on children. If you are a pedophile then it gets amplified with substance that can make you lose your mind. Otherwise, I don't think someone who is normal will think of abusing a child when he is drug.

The worse is parents that do that to their children of infant age. That act is abominable and such person molesting their children deserve a capital punishment.

Such acts should be condemned and offenders need severe punishment.

The high rate of sexual abuse on children in this country is getting out of hand and you know something bad starts little by little and when those who have the power to stop it on time refuse to do the needful and feel neglected to that evil it grows little by little until it will beyond the control of the supposed to control it on time..

So what  I'm trying to say,is that our government have refuse to put serious laws against anyone who is caught on the act of sexual abuse on children,to be dealt with mercilessly,but I wonder why our government can never be serious with anything that concerns life and death in this country, how i wish a serious law has been passed about this sexual abuse and used one person to set for an example,i tell you others with learned their lesson immediately..

There is no excuse for anyone who committed sexual abuse, they did not deserve mercy of any kind no matter the kind of sickness he or she May have..
