In general, you mix several things together. To begin with, there are high salaries that can help you achieve financial freedom in a short time, but they are not within everyone's reach, such as that of a CEO of a large company or a professional player in a mass sport. I don't propose a dichotomy between a business and a salary because when you start a business, it can go wrong, and most businesses fail. So, you can have a salaried job that you like, that pays you well, that gives you opportunities for advancement, and at the same time you invest like clockwork. That will give you freedom of choice, rather than desperately trying to start a business because you dream of achieving a level of financial freedom that will allow you to retire in no time. 

But I find good your advice of trying to have multiple sources of income.

I'm all in on having multiple sources of income, having investments, business, passive income and all, but why do you people just talk about them like it's just something you can simply wake up and be successful in them? How did we get to live in a world where everybody must have a business?
Have you ever thought about people who are lawyers, and that is simply what they want to do? Why do you pressure people like that to start a business? Why do you pressure a nurse to have a business or something?
What is this unrealistic view about "financial freedom"? Less than 15% of the world can actually achieve financial freedom. Or do I live in a different reality from everyone else?

Thankfully, we live ina world where people don't need to have a business to have investments. You could buy shares, T-bills, gold, silver, bitcoin and have them as investments. A nurse can take a portionof her salary and buy Bitcoin every month for the next 20 years.
This advice of everybody doing business or trading is bs to me.
You don't need financial freedom to have a good life; if it were so, only the wealthy in our society would be enjoying life. You can still be working and live your best life. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a job. You just have to put in the sacrifice it takes to have a good job. You have to be ready to study hard and be excellent in those courses, learn and be better at what you do.
Please, we have to tone down the advice of "have your own business"; it's becoming ridiculous at this point, because you even need capital to start the business. Reality is so different from what you people talk about.

In this day and age, we really can't just rely on income from our main job alone. We must become people who can generate income outside of our main job, such as side income from online side jobs. One of the utmost challenges in achieving a business or investment goals is time. You don't need to rush it but get into into when you have gained the knowledge and as well gathered all necessary demands and then, let it to sail gradually.
It might look discouraging from a begining when you are not getting the rewards in the short term but when you follow the right tracks, you will surely make it successful in the he long term.

It used to be that in the past, people who worked were really tied to earning enough. Nowadays, you can't just rely on one job. The beauty of today's generation is that there are many opportunities that you can choose from. It's not just normal jobs that you can choose to live in. For example, there are vloggers, influencers who earn based on views or subscriptions, and there are many other opportunities that could come in the future, just waiting for the time to be discovered. So if you are looking for a way to change your life, try new ones that you can also earn besides your regular work.

This is because not all salaries are the same in every country, and not all jobs are the same either. There's a significant disparity in salaries depending on each country and its economic development, ranging from salaries that barely cover the minimum living expenses in poor countries to high salaries in wealthy countries that allow you to live comfortably simply by working.

Also, jobs differ. It is hard to get financial freedom with a job in today’s world but for sure some people got their financial freedom from their jobs. Basically the best approach should be diversification of your sources of income…you can still balance continuing the job and opening the business, as you said and I think most people currently have side hustles in today's world and they don’t fully depend on one source of income.

I'd definitely disagree on this front, a decent job can absolutely get you to freedom but for most people it requires a very long time horizon but the media insists that everyone should be rich right this second. A job is just one component towards building wealth, it alone will not necessarily get you there - how you invest money and find the right balance in spending is key. Some people spend money as fast as they earn it, but it disappears on junk that they can barely even remember. You must make your money work hard for you otherwise you will work forever. Poor decisions or getting too greedy can be just as disastrous, because it is often an attempt at taking a shortcut but most people will need decades before they can reach the freedom that we dream about.

What your saying is easier said than done, people with job hardly have time to build a business, as they are always busy with the Job currently paying them, some times this jobs occupy them from Monday to Friday, so at what point will you have to build a trade, except your working a per time jobs that's gives you ample time to start a trade.

You need to stop this shaming work, nobody get freedom but there are people that are living the life they wanted through jobs. I can be a job man with skills and earn a contract job, if that contract is executed successfully, the money gotten through that contract job can change life forerver. However, if you mean menial jobs that earn you small amount of money then your reason is justified, such jobs can't give you freedom, you will likely work all your entire life.

I don't understand your agitation for trading but have you really trade for long term before? If you are making money or if you making nothing. The thing about trading is that, it's really hard, you can make money from trading and lose everything to trading. You can lose your sanity and the capital along and I'm not even joining about it. Having multiple sources of income is the best thing to have in this world today. But telling people to go for trading as another source of income that will give them plenty of profits is what I won’t really commend. Trading is an high risk investment and before anyone would venture into it, they need to have made sure that they’ve had a background research about it and are sure that it is something that they can take on as another means of making money.

No one depends on one source of income but while still diversifying and seeking for other means of income, only do the one that is not highly risky for you and gives you a more chance of earning well through it without risking more than you can afford. Another financial freedom goal. Well, it's not bad to dream of this and hope it will be achieved one day. However, we need to be realistic here. Not everyone has the capacity to run their own business or handle investments successfully. Sometimes, more than one job can be too much for a person, but that one job might be well compensated, not only to pay bills but also to have excess for leisure. To make it short, not all jobs pay only for survival every day. There are many high-paying jobs, but only a select few can potentially achieve them.
