Dreams, goals, passion, career and everything else can wait, but a hungry stomach can't this is why even if most people know that they are not going to get financially better with the job and salary they still choose to do it, and they settle for an average life with secured income rather than achieving big.

This is the reality of life. You can still pursue the best job of your dreams but when an opportunity is there and you're in a situation that you have no option to choose but to take it, you'll realize that nothing is important with an empty stomach but to fill that with any job that's already in front of you. I think that the hardship that a person goes through is also going to help with future better choices. From life, jobs, opportunities and it goes with the investments as well and it's what happen to most of the holders from the forum when we've been stuck into the rat race.

This is the reality of this cruel and unfair world, not everyone who is skillful in particular field will reach the job but someone who did at the right time be the one. So if someone can't really take risks because the are not financially stable then finding the job should be the priority since we can do thins later too for that we need to be there now and that is what the job does but over the time people will just accept it as their fate and just remain in the race forever.

Yes, that becomes the fate that they're accepting. If they're already fine with that and they have a job that pays things for them and the bills that they have. They'll be content with it and we cannot judge them for having that kind of mindset because what matters is that they're surviving, able to pay what they have to pay for the needs they require to survive their daily living.

Having juts one source of income is not the best. If you’re even working under someone, under a private entity, it is not advisable to feel relaxed and not look for other means to earn more money. One thing about working under someone is that, you’ll work all your life out and very time consuming and also demanding that you don’t get paid enough for your efforts. No job security and you can get fired at anytime, so it makes it not a dependable source to depend on. A white collar job under the government is better but not enough if you don’t back it up with a skills you’re good at and can be source for any work through it. So having a skill is importantly and making it a necessity will really help to go a long way for you in this technologically driven era we’re in now.

They worked really hard to reach that point where they can afford to sell their skills and gain wealth from it. They deserved to be compensated well because their skills are in demand and can’t be found anywhere else. Sometimes you’d just really have to find a niche market but again it’s very difficult and often takes a long time.

Human needs are unlimited, so no matter how much you earn, you will never achieve financial freedom. So never be dissatisfied with your position, keep trying to achieve something big.

No job allows you to be independent. Is money the key to freedom? Which freedom are you referring to? Freedom in purchasing? Or freedom in real life?

Always remember, money is the main cause of dependence. If you look at the richest people in the world, you will see a common problem among them, which is lack of time. When they have a lot of money, they do not have time to spend that money, they are dependent on money. Having little money means that your purchasing power is low but you are free. At the end of the day, we can eat simple food and sleep peacefully. So it is better to earn as much as you need. If you cannot enjoy earning money, that money is of no value.

The billionaire who can't enjoy their money, that's a them problem. Nobody's forcing them to continue working. They chose that. Keep choosing it actually.

And okay, less money means more freedom? Really? Because from where I'm sitting if you're broke, you can't say no to anything. Bad job? Take it anyway. Toxic situation? Stay because you need the income. One emergency and you're entirely screwed.

Real freedom needs options. You can't have options without some base-line of security.

There's two kinds of freedom we're confusing here. Financial independence gives you freedom from being coerced, from being forced into situations. That's real. But it doesn't give you freedom from yourself, freedom from wanting more, from the comparison game. That part's work in it and money won't fix. We act like it's binary. Either chase money and lose your soul or be poor and free. Why? Why can't you build enough security so that you have choices, and have the discipline to stop there?

Most people never even get to step one though. Too busy to be thinking of any of this while trying to stay alive.

I think that many have been into this situation from the members of the forum. We can speak for ourselves of how hard it is to work with a job that you're only staying because it provides you provision for yourself and for your family. But never stop dreaming because the time will come that enough is enough and you're going to put yourself into priority to pursue your dreams without compromising what you're providing for your family.

That's why planning is necessary to manage our finances well. Even if our income at work is small, having a structured plan will make it much easier to maximize it. Dreams of achieving financial success must be bigger, so our motivation will also increase. Most importantly, do something that can make a difference, even if it means starting small. Everyone has experienced financial difficulties and perhaps we try to find a way out of that pressure by utilizing our existing potential. It's always nice to have that dream about freedom, realizing it is entirely different universes though.
Doing business you will need to take into account about being broke because your business went bankrupt or you can't even feed yourselves tomorrow.

Romanticizing business is okay as long as you know that jobs secures your daily expenses and pay the bill while business can give you freedom but can bring financial crisis as well.
Safest way for freedom that I can find is job with a side hustle and investment.

The thinking is that relying solely a job can limit your financial freedom as you are trading time for Monday. It’s not that job are inherently bad they provide essential financial support. However having multiple income stream can reduce your financial stress and income your sense of freedom.
