I don't know what could be the consequences for what he did in his local community (gambling and losing third party's funds), but I suspect it could be something quite serious, since he decided going into the route he took instead.

We don’t really know what happened inside his head, but it’s not new that some people end up taking their own lives because of financial problems. This case is even more serious, since he didn’t just ruin things for himself, he also dragged other people into it by taking money that wasn’t his.

His addiction probably pushed him to do that, because if he were thinking clearly, he would know there’s no guaranteed winning in gambling. Once you lose, it’s very hard to fix the problem. But in that moment, he was likely too hyped about winning and didn’t even consider the possibility of losing.

You have a point but there's no excuse for what he did, no matter what it is you think that you might be dealing with mentally after going through such a phase or while going through it you must remember that it is a phase that will pass and nothing is worth dying over. A very sad news and indeed it will definitely leave a bad impression to the gambling sphere once again and it's indeed a fact but it shouldn't have been the case if people do really gamble moderately and don't gamble anything that will ruin themselves in the end. Gambling can never solve your financial problems but rather add to your problems. Regardless of your debt, you shouldn't take your life because it doesn't worth it. Death can not wave the debt, you'll leave it behind for your family to pay and still cause them emotional stress for mourning your death.

This is such a sad news, a student and a young life gone just because of reckless gambling decisions. A student shouldn't be involved in gambling because they have enough reading to worry about and it's just unfortunate that they get addicted to the point of using valuable money that isn't even his and some of these students use their school fees to gamble hoping to get it double, that is obviously not worth his life and he shouldn't have taken that path but it is what it is and I'm sure that someone else is still going to make this foolish mistake but I pray this type of news never appears again because it's heartbreaking to see a young life cut short because of something that isn't worth it.

Couldn't agree more. I believe those who take their lives when they face difficulties in life are cowards who don't have the courage to face every situation and handle it somehow. Life is all about challenges, you can't expect to have your life totally free from problems, whether you are rich or poor, whether you live anywhere in the world, whether you are with family or alone, there will always be problems in your life, and you have to face those problems with courage and say that no matter how big you are, you are not bigger than my will to get through you. Problems can't harm you unless you let them do that.

Those who are so weak mentally that they can't bear it if they lose some money, they shouldn't gamble in the first place, but even still if they do it, they should make sure that they are using funds that they can afford to lose so that they don't lose their mind after losing and start thinking of killing themselves or doing things that one should never do no matter what happens. Gambling is not for the weak, and people should keep this in mind when they decide to get into gambling, only thinking about profits and making money won't do anything.

The truth is that, there are people who even up till adulthood they haven’t faced any real life challenges because they still hide under the umbrella of their parents and family, now these set of people don’t really have idea of what facing real life problems look like, so when life happens to them, they usually don't know how to handle them and so they feel the best and easiest exit from such a problem would be to end it all without realizing that they’re not really ending or solving any problem but creating even more problems for their family and loved ones.

This is a crazy story and we have been seeing similar news like this the way people are making the mistakes to think that gambling will give them financial freedom. There is no way gambling can give financial freedom when it is a business that is setup to make money. If gamblers are winning too much from a company, the company will have to file for bankruptcy because they will not be able to pay gamblers their winnings. This is why casinos will have to do all they can to make sure they are winning from gamblers, if things don't work like this, it is going to affect the casino financial stability.

Sadly not everyone up to 18 by age is mature enough to actually think like an adult. Because no reasonable reason for someone to kill himself over a game.

That’s the truth, some people are just 18+ of age but they are never matured, and that is why so many people say that maturity is not by age if not how can you use money that is not yours for gambling while it is always advices to use what you can afford to lose since we all know that it is risky and anything can happen regardless of how sure you may be about the games you placed.

This is a very tragic story, and youth and inexperience probably played a role here. If someone loses a lot on a regular basis, they need to talk to someone about it and not keep it to themselves. Perhaps if the person cannot find a way out of the situation themselves, others will be able to help them. In general, money is not the meaning of life, it is simply a means that helps us live, but it is not life itself. Why will someone commit suicide all because there lost a bet, now it’s very important that people gamble responsibly and gamble with caution, I will only imagine it’s because of lack of confidence and understanding about life, people going into gambling should always endeavor to gamble with money they can afford to lose, like me when I’m gambling I always have to gamble responsibly, and also I try to gamble with money that I can afford to lose, something I can call a discretionary money.
