It's easiest to point the finger at someone these days, especially if you know that someone won't or can't retaliate with something concrete, such as a defamation lawsuit. I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but as I've been following this topic, I've noticed that this isn't the first time someone has made these or similar accusations without clear evidence.

Exchanged BTC to ETH Sent the transaction and it is in Pending status For three hours already. After an hour I wrote to support and they said to wait. I don't want to wait so long and asked to cancel the transaction. Tech support stopped replying and two hours of silence from them. Transaction is waiting as well as all outgoing from their wallet. No one is doing anything.

As mentioned in our answer, our ETH node crashed and is currently resyncing.  All orders will be processed automatically when the node will be back to the normal state, it can take a few hours.

Edit: all relevant transactions are now processed, issue solved

I hope that even this small volume of trading with it, manages to cover the maintenance costs and that low profitability will not be a reason to remove it from the offer.

Dash used to be a top10 coin in 2017, now it is about 170 in market cap rank.

I think most people lost interest because of its terrible performance in the past 7 years or so

My take is this:

- Do you want strong privacy? If yes, buy Monero, because if you care about privacy, you'd probably prefer the best privacy protection with the least cost. Otherwise, buy bitcoin.

It's really that simple. In terms of performance, nobody beats bitcoin. People who are into the space for years know this, and store their savings in bitcoin. Is bitcoin the most convenient cryptocurrency to pay merchants? No. Monero, for example, is faster on-chain, cheaper and you don't have to select which txo to spend, as amounts are hidden.

Everything else that offers less privacy, or is less decentralized (e.g., Dash) will go obsolete, because if you're going to trade bitcoin, then there is no reason not to have the best privacy for so little cost.

Thinking of it, I don't remember any of my friends even mentioning DASH in the last few years, let alone buying/hodling, but I still see it on crypto ATMs.

There is a problem. Monero is impossible to buy on eXch because it has almost always ZERO reserves.

I honestly don't care about dash and it's low trading volume, nobody I know is using it and it doesn't have real privacy like monero.

On positive note, I am was surprised to see over $3 million of DAI traded in last 24h on eXch.
This is multiple times more than USDT and USDC combined, and you can include few other coins there.

Dash, obviously quite an "unpopular" coin, still occupies a place on eXch, thus certain resources. With a little over $5k of daily trading, on an exchange with over $40mil per day, Dash brings an insignificant percentage. Maybe it's time for Dash to be replaced ^{on eXch} by a more popular coin, SOL or something pretty actual.

Of course, this would imply some technical work, but I think SOL is a coin that cannot be ignored by an exchange

For DOGE, I don't know. It's a legacy meme coin, but I am not sure how easy it would be to implement the new meme coins.

It makes you wonder why they would keep Dash as an option when the trading volumes do not support a case for it to be listed there. It might not necessarily mean they should replace Dash if they remove it but it does seem strange that it is still available on eXch. Maybe they have their reasons for keeping it and will post about it after reading the posts.

I think it is highly unlike they will use DOGE but adding it would bring much wow to their exchange

eXch values user's privacy, they are a non-KYC instant exchange. Therefore it makes total sense for me that they support Dash, even when the traded volume wouldn't justify it. It's a pro-privacy statement and it underlines their business philosophy. I like this, even when I don't use Dash so far.

I think that for the listing of a new coin, the purpose and prediction of what will happen to a coin in 5 years is not important. Probably much more important is the current usability and demand for trade, as well as the market potential of a coin.
For example, XRP is currently up to the 3rd place on CMC, quite an established coin. Proposals could begin to consider adding XRP to the exchange.

Personally, i would prefer DOGE.

Adding Doge adds the risk of someone exchanging a load of Doge for Bitcoin right before a price drop, making eXch a Doge bag holder. I wouldn't want to run that risk.

What's the difference of DOGE with LTC and ETH? That risk already exists. It's now possible that someone wants to exchange a big amount of LTC or ETH for bitcoin.
Are you saying eXch shouldn't add any more coin/token, because people may want to exchange a big amount of them for bitcoin?

And it's worth to mention that using Bitcoin with one of CoinJoin service/wallet offer similar or better privacy than DASH. After all, DASH privacy feature is CoinJoin managed by one of masternodes.
