Yes, I tried claymore and Wolf-xmr-miner - both would not run. I posted my problem in this message - https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=583449.msg16159861#msg16159861

Since both of those miners are winblows .exe programs, I'm thinking it will be something to do with WiNE , the windoez emulator in a linux environment. I have next to zero experience with WiNE. I wish there was a linux miner, not some hack work around using an emulator. That would definitely solve the issue.

Compile it yourself on Linux.
