Hey MONERO Community. Love XMR, have a few and want MORE.
Created this awesome .999 Silver round and am ACCEPTING MONERO in trade for them.

There's a FULL ANN THREAD in Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Goods > Collectibles
@The Liberty CryptoDollar ALTCOIN SPECIE (1oz .999 Silver/AltCoins Accepted)

CONVERT XMR to 1oz. .999 SILVER SPOT PRICE
Instantly show you what 1oz Silver is worth in MONERO

The 2018 'Liberty CryptoDollar' is the first in a series of next generation 'AltCoin Specie' intended to expand awareness of alternative currency economics by providing a bridge for non-bitcoin users with an innovative and attractive numismatic offering.

Simply scan the QR code to swiftly present the user with the current and accurate SPOT value for 'One Ounce Fine Silver' against a handful of virtual and fiat currencies.  Currently: BTC, ETH, DASH, XMR, LTC & DOGE

This coin is uniquely suited for gift-givers, alternative currency collectors and investment enthusiasts alike.

Right now I'm in the Collectors piece phase of production.
Will have much cheaper SATIN FINISH rounds available January 1st 2018.

 DESIGN STATS:
  • COMPOSITION:  .999 Fine Silver
  • WEIGHT: 1 TROY OUNCE
  • Obverse: Liberty Dollar 20th Anniversary
  • Reverse: XMR MONERO QR Code 'Price Tag'
 MINTAGE STATS:
  • 300 Double Struck PROOF Strikes, Individually Numbered
         100 1st Gen. BITCOIN SPECIE (001/300-100/300)
          200 2nd Gen. ALTCOIN SPECIE (101/300-300/300)
  • 500 Single Struck 'Proof-Like' Mirror Finish (not numbered)
  • General Issue/Satin Finish Rounds to be Available January 1st through December 31st 2018. Created AFTER forever changing/sandblasting the DIES, so that only a limited number of each run can be made.

CONVERT XMR to 1oz. .999 SILVER SPOT PRICE
Instantly show you what 1oz Silver is worth in MONERO

Note: While some may call them 'Physical Bitcoins', Liberty Crypto-Dollars are fundamentally different from Casascius coins. Liberty Crypto-Dollars merely provide a means to return an accurate/current SPOT value of the bullion. They are not useful as wallets, or as containers for bitcoin in any way.

Project thread: The Liberty CryptoDollar ALTCOIN SPECIE (1oz .999 Silver/AltCoins Accepted)

Crosspost from speculation thread.

...
We have no leaders. No heroes. Only voices.

Fair enough. Smiley

...

Well a FFS was just funded for a person that has been giving presentations all throughout Europe.  BTW this was the 3rd FFS that was funded all for relatively small amounts.

There is quite a bit going on in Monero but you won't know about it if you are only on bct

So where can we get a list of these places? AFA reddit goes I just cannot follow the conversations there with the posts all jumbled up. XMR started here and the main thread should be updated with all these developments you speak of. dEBRUYNE does a great job of dropping things like software updates and crowdfunding requests but the "quite a bit going on" should at least be linked in the main thread.

Obviously this should be the place but it isn't.

Does monero have plans to facilitate turing complete on chain scripting? If not than I don't see how it could make eth obsolete.

I said possible not probable. It's impossible for that touring complete shitshow to ever become backwardly fungible nor immutable.

The planned protocol update went fine, it took two minutes.

Normally Monero updates go about without any drama thats why it's on a regular schedule so there is time for the updates to be tested on testnet like any project worth it's salt will do before rolling an update out that will HF. Any project that has continuous issues on updates is in the hands of inept Developers and should not be trusted. This is not some game that your character may get lost this is actual currency and alot of these fly by night gimmick coins don't seem to get that and have to roll out multiple patches to fix their initial incompetence. It's amusing to watch them run around and try to find a competent Dev to save them. Or worse yet have to break immutability and destroy any credibility they initially had.

Wow isn't that hasty?

Isn't this supposed to be a decentralized community. I mean sure people might have high agreement rate in a small community but still 2 minutes?

There are always disagreements, in a decentralized community, it would normally take a lot of time until consensus is reached. Is the Monero community not decentralized enough? How many nodes are there?

I see, we have 1000+ nodes that is nice for an altcoin other than BTC.

I just don't get how fast it can happen? Did the nodes pre-signal the update? Is that a possibility?

Or did they need to download a new software and restart their node client. I am not exactly sure how the upgrading procedure works. I know for BTC you have to download a new software and replace the old one.

I am just not sure how can that be done in 2 minutes for 1000 nodes.

Could ETH or BTC implement features which will make Monero obsolete?

I've heard the Ring?? algorithm is the best there is for privacy.

No, But the opposite is quite true.

Does monero have plans to facilitate turing complete on chain scripting? If not than I don't see how it could make eth obsolete.

I said possible not probable. It's impossible for that touring complete shitshow to ever become backwardly fungible nor immutable.

Don't get me wrong. I have plenty of my own beef with ETH. But I do not understand this criticism.

Are you saying turing complete on chain scripting is necessarily impossible to be fungible or immutable in all conceivable implementations? Or are you claiming this of ETH particular implementation? Also I understand what fungible and immutable mean generally but I'm not sure if I understand what you mean by them in this case. Can you elaborate? Do you have any relevant links that lead you to this conclusion?

If you are talking about how they hard fork and roll back all the time to make up for their incompetence than I would say they can (and should) have chosen not to do that.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?
