Hopefully this works lol  this is what happening at this end as you can see the s3 miner is dead 0 hash you can see the setting etc BUT the monitor is not sending any alerts nor rebooting it    Also has a s1 that just gone down the same trick

Just a footnote it on the lastest firmware and running cg 4.6

No tricks, should work out of the box.

I just took this from my machine:

Everything looks right to me.  But the alerts clearly aren't there.  I'll have to check my code, thanks for the SS, they'll help a lot.

Try this one:

Download link: MAntMonitor34b6.zip

If it still doesn't work, check the log, see if it says anything new.

hey mdude   I gave that v6 a try no joy there BUT I tied something to just humor myself here and that was to delete the ants out of the program and re set them up via the port scanner on the program I have found that has done the trick on getting the alerts etc working on...

when I 1st set it up I put the ip address in manually myself so could it be connect to that in some shape as that side was picking the ip up and monitor the data from the ants BUT not kicking the warnings and reboot in on it....

Just something I picked up after doing the auto scan on the ports and she running as she should be now....

That is weird.  Did you by chance look at the log to see if it said it couldn't find the Ants?

It gives me an idea where to look as to what might be wrong.

Thanks!

Great work so far M!  Have one minor issue that has popped up on this version.  Email alerts quit working.  Can go in and send test message fine but when real alerts occur, no emails.  Sad

Are you using beta 7?  Alerts were effectively disabled until beta 7 if you weren't using the standard naming convention for the Ants.

I am using b7.  The log shows errors when trying to send email on processed alerts.

9/27/2014 8:00:44 AM: M's Ant Monitor v3.4b7 starting
9/27/2014 8:00:44 AM: Initiated Ant refresh
9/27/2014 8:00:45 AM: ERROR when processing alerts on S3:1.158 (step 11): Column named IPAddress cannot be found.
Parameter name: columnName
9/27/2014 8:00:45 AM: ERROR when processing alerts on S3:1.157 (step 11): Column named IPAddress cannot be found.
Parameter name: columnName

I can send manual email tests with no errors.

9/27/2014 8:03:03 AM: Alert email sent.

Popup notifications for alerts work fine.
