FWIW, he followed through on mine (as can be seen in the original post). He did run into a snag in that he didn't have all the BTC available at the time, but we worked around that problem so it's still a satisfactory deal in my opinion.

This guy is getting accounts locked by middle manning green dot cards, and he does not give a shit about the customers. His code got all 3 of my Greendot accounts locked. When I asked him what if that code locked another persons account he pretty much did not care.

I used the code on one, it said it was not accepting it thought maybe I had hit some sort of max. Then when I tried it on my other account it had some crap about fraud and activity.

I can confirm. Essentially what happened was this (for full disclosure):

Loan was made. He couldn't fill the entire thing in repayment so he offered to pay back the balance the next day. I made a request to just roll over the remaining amount into a new loan, and added some more funds on top of it (being that he has a good reputation).

Yesterday, about 6 hours early, he repaid the entire balance that was owed (the rolled over amount, the extra loaned on top of that, and all interest).

He wouldn't let me do another loan right now, but we are 100% settled as per the agreement (loan) at this point and I'd have no issue working with him again in the future if he was up for it.
