Wasn't a rumour just an observation. We all have agendas, you are bagholding, I want it cheaper for a profit, why not alert the savvy to what it actually is today.

Pretty disappointed with myself. I knew the price was going to fall but the fake 50 rmb buy wall made me hesitate to wait for a lower price. Only profited 3000 coins. Oh well maybe next time.

A pool specific thread is a good idea and will give miners a place to ask questions without being accused of whining about the pool or payouts. I don't believe my post was whining or accusing anyone of the pool being a scam. The pool is a big part of promoting the coin, it's a way for people to get some VRC if they don't have BTC to buy it. i paid good money for my miners and I look for best place to put my hash to good use. I tried the pool and I didn't get paid for whatever reason. if the pool was NOT directly affiliated with the coin I would not be posting here but it is so I am.

Alpha/beta whatever state it is in, the hype is getting people excited about the coin and one way to get it is mining. If you got in early and have a bunch of VRC congrats! I guess perhaps the mining ship has sailed but if the devs believe in the coin and the pool then there should be better communication around the pool and a place for people to give feedback/report issues without getting in some kind of flame war.

The pool gives 0 info regarding what expected payouts should be, history or even dates/times of the pool rounds so people are going to be looking to forums like this to ask questions, vent or complain.

If I end up getting paid at some point I might come back to the pool but right now ghash.io/cex.io multipool has been way more profitable than all of the other scrypt multipools I've tried (http://poolpicker.eu/text.php). I'm getting an average of .0025 btc Mh/day or more even when other multipools are tanking, I can buy/sell my scrypt profits for Ghash for an added bump in btc. For x11 I'm trying wafflepool with great results so far.

I'll keep an eye on the vericoin pool and may come back if you should improved support and communication but until then ghash.io it is!

We are not ready to start a pool page. We are fixing bugs still and writing new code. I will be posting announcements here.

First announcement: We accidentally introduced a payout bug but caught it before payouts went out. We are reverting now. Payouts will not go out until late tonight when we rebuild the owed databases.

Nothing wrong with having a thread with "Beta" in the subject.  Then you can remove the "Beta" when you're ready.  Good to have a place for miners to stop by and posts any questions or concerns they may have.  If not, then posting here should be okay.  Just a thought.
